Chapter 8: 8. Encounter
Lance watched Ze sleeping. The early sun kissed the sky and Lance approached Ze and
whispered into her ears moving her hair away from the ear, " I will protect you" .
She got a tickling sensation. She opened her eyes but found nobody there. She saw the dustbin, to her
surprise it was used twice.she got up from her bed and went through her phone and for her surprise
she had 10 missed calls and a text message from Eli.

Her eyes blinked with happiness.but she fell back into the bed again." hangover" she hit her head and
rubbed her forehead. Her beautiful eyes were red and she is not able to concentrate on anything.
She walked near the bathroom,the whole room was swinging. She sat for a while, then she took a hot
bath and wore up a trendy dress. A jet ck pant and checked white and red shirt. She tucked it in,
loosening her curls and went downstairs without realizing a war is waiting for her downstairs.
Mrs christi gave a piercing look at Ze. Zad drilled her with his look.
" well you have to exin me with what happened yesterday."
" sorry mom, they forced me to drink."
" well is that what your exnation means?"
" thanks to that boy, Lance for dropping you at proper time." Said Mr christi.
She blinked her eyes. "Didnce dropped me yesterday."
"Yes"
She mumbled " Shit I don''t rememberpletely."
" eat something" Mrs.christi called her. But she refused and asked Mr.christi to drop her to school. Zad
is still sick. Mr christi adviced her and dropped her to school. She is still in a hangover.

She walked into the ss and on the way she saw Eli and Percy.
"Hey, so Watsup, you look so dull and gloomy today." Percy remarked for her appearance.
"Your eyes are red like a hell" Eli said looking into her eyes.
" I drunk too much yesterday" Ze Said.
" what you drunk?" Eli shouted.
Everyone were watching them. Ze turned her head down and asked them to calm down. She felt
embarrassing.
" those three idiotic girls forced me to drink. And im still in that hangover."
" how many shots did you drink?"
" I don''t remember."
"Hell... you dont remember?"
"So how did you go home then Ze?"
" well I thinknce dropped me."
" what do you mean by I think?"
" well I don''t remember a thing."
And they three started staring at each other.
" I wont leave those girls. I will teach them manners" Percy fisted his hands. His face turned red.
" so I heard that you two aremitted, what about that" Ze changed the topic
They both giggled and held their hands together and Percy kissed on Eli''s cheek and said
" yes we are."
They said proudly. The three bursted into augh.Then all of them went into the ss and Ze saw
Lance. He was waiting for someone. His hands were locked,his eyebrows were furrowed. There was
some tension on his face, he smiled when he saw Ze. She blinked her eyes. She smiled back to him
in surprise. ''Did he just smiled back to me.''
" so what is there between you both?" Eli whispered.
She blushed and went near Lance.
" thanks for dropping me home" said Ze.
" oh its ok,how do you feel now?" Said Lance
" still in hangover"said Ze.
"I can see that in your eyes"
She felt a mild astonishment. She blinked her eyes and she didn''t notice that her jaws were open. She
closed it forcefully.
Then she tried to remember yesterday''s party, she could only remember about she and Lance staring
at each other.
She leaned to Lance and asked in a low voice " did I do something weird yesterday?"
" obviously... no.." then he turned his face away and he was breathing heavily.His ashen colored or
probably to say pale cheeks became pink at a moment.
She went back to her seat andid down in the desk without knowing the truth. She ignored everyone
who came and just said that she is not well. She was having a throbbing headache.The ss was over.
Everyone rushed out of the ss. Eli, Percy,Lance and Ze were in the ss. Lance was staring at
Ze. His look was intense and his eyes were soft and its color changed into blue. It was like a mom
staring at her kid, and watching her sleep.
Eli and Percy tried to wake her up
" Ze wake up."
She got up and said " im having a big trouble in my head." Her eyes were dark red. She hardly got up
from her ce.
"I will ask dad to pick me up." She sighed.
"Should we wait for you ?" They asked.
"No, I can manage." She replied.
They both waved her a goodbye and went home.Lance watched them walking away.
Her dad texted her that he wont be able toe and pick her.
''why is this zad sick for this long'' she sighed and started to walk alone.While walking her vision seems
little blurring.She wiped her eyes and continued walking. Ze stopped near dark forest. She saw
someone,who exactly looks like Lance.
" ohh its Lance." She was happy to see him.
She went near him. He walked into the forest. She went behind him.
"Lance,wait" she shouted.
She is kind of lost in that dark forest. She felt like someone is spying her from behind. She turned
behind but found no one. She heard the sound of leaves moving and woods cracking and footsteps
closer to her.
She felt a prick behind her neck. Suddenly she felt like her energies are oozing out. Two sharp canines
dug into her external carotid artery. Her visions were blurred and she felt like something which is sharp
like a needle is going deep into her neck. She started be cold and mmy. She barely able to
move and was not able to turn behind to see what was that. She felt dizzy,her hands were shivering
and everything turned ck to her. She touched the ground. Her body was cold and pale.
