    Chapter Eighteen


    Amira POV


    “Ground rules for us being in the same house together. These are only the rules regarding Meda,


    however.” I begin, holding. Meda close and looking each man in the eye.


    “At the end of the day, Meda is mine and only mine. If any of you try to undermine that, I will take away


    your privilege of spending time with her. Second, if I see you holding or treating her incorrectly, I’ll beat


    the s**t out of you. Thirdly, if you pester me when I’m having some mommy daughter time with Meda,


    I’ll cut your d**k off.” I finish, giving all three of them a pointed look.


    “So are you going to stay by us if we’re with her?” Erebus questions, and I grit my teeth. They’re just


    using her to get closer to me.


    “Argh! You guys can’t use my own baby sister to get time with me! If you spend time with her, it should


    be for her. Not for me. We can spend time together away from Meda.”


    All the men perk up. “We can?” Erebus asks.


    I smile. “Of course not. I just wanted to see if any of you cared about Meda for Meda, and not for me.


    So far I know the answer is no for, at least, Erebus- but I was already suspecting that one since he


    abused and bullied me for years on end.”


    Myment makes Erebus’s face fall.


    Damon looks into my eyes. “Baby, I’ve known you for almost two years, and gained your trust at some


    point. I’ll love Meda as a baby sister as well. I already do. I mean look at that bundle of adorable, how


    can I refuse her?”


    Traise my eyebrows.


    “Okay, here’s going to be a test. Each of you have thirty seconds’ to hold Meda. If she cries, you don’t


    get to spend time with me. If she doesn’t, you can take me out individually wherever and whenever you


    want.”


    I ampletely confident that none of the men will pass, and I keep this in mind with a smug smile on


    my face . “Erebus, you’re up first.” I invite, before carefully handing Meda to him. As soon as he takes


    her, she’s wailing. I


    smirk.


    “Fail. Christian, you’re next.”


    Christian takes a deep breath, and ever so gently takes Meda. She looks at him with seeming


    apprehension, but doesn’t end up crying. I swear under my breath.


    “Pass. Damon, your turn.” I grumble. Damon expertly picks up Meda, who instantly melts into his hold,


    snuggling up to him. He hands her back to me and fist pumps, and I swear again. “I’m cashing in right


    now” Christian says. I raise my eyebrows at him. “Leave Meda with Damon’s parents. They’re great


    with her.” I mean, he’s right. Meda has taken a liking to Damon’s parents. With a deep breath, I nod,


    and seek out the Alpha and Luna. I’m f****d. After handing Meda over I head to my room, where


    Christian is sitting on the bed. “Casual dress” he suggests, before walking out.


    I throw on white shorts, a ck crop top, and ck and white vans before grabbing a satchel bag and

    heading downstairs, where Christian is waiting. He looks me up and down.


    “You’re really tempting me to take you right here and now, Amira” he says with a groan. Good. I want to


    make his life as hellish as he has made mine. “Where are we going?” I question. “It’s a surprise.”
