    "No, it''s not like that. It''s just—" she answered.


    "Why Lisa?" asked Scott.


    “I couldn''t do as many things as I wanted, because I had to take care of my mother who was sick at the


    time. Sean and I helped each other. Meanwhile, my father works,” answered Lisa.


    "Sorry to hear that. What happened to your mom exactly?” asked Scott.


    “She suffered from a stroke that hit half of her body. She couldn''t do much and justy limp in bed the


    whole time."


    "Sorry to hear that, Lisa. And how are things now?” Scott asked curiously.


    “She passed away not too long ago. That''s one of the reasons why Sean and I vacationed here."


    "Sorry for your loss. If there''s anything I can help you with, don''t hesitate to say it."


    "Thank you. You can help me with one thing."


    "Say it."


    “Take me to interesting ces. How? Before I go back to Manhattan."

    Not long after that, the food they ordered arrived. Scott asked Lisa to taste the food and give her

    Then, Katie hurriedly left the ce to go to Fred''s house, who was Scott''s enemy all this time. When


    the car she was driving stopped right in front of the gate, several guards approached and questioned


    her.


    “Excuse me, I would like to meet Mr. Fred. Is he in there?” she asked.


    “Before we answer, show me your ID? Have you made an appointment with Mr. Fred?" asked one of


    therge guards.


    “This is my ID card. I came here suddenly and haven''t made an appointment to meet him. Please tell


    him that Katie from the Blood Moon Pack would like to see him discuss an advantage,” she said.


    The two guards looked at each other. Then, one of the athletic stature men who seemed to be the


    leader of all went and entered the guard post. From a distance, Katie saw that he was calling someone.

    she was feeling nervous. Then, the man stopped right beside the car and asked, “Pleasee in,


    Miss. Mr. Fred is waiting for you inside."


    "Okay thank you." Then Katie drove her car into Fred''s big and spacious house.


    After parking the car right near the terrace, Katie got out. Several guards were seen standing and


    watching at some point. It was quite different from Scott''sfortable and home-like residence. There


    is no strict security at the Scott residence.


    Then, she walked towards the main entrance and two guards stopped her.


    "You can stop here and tell me what you need?" said one of the guards.


    “I want to meet Mr. Fred. He had known of my arrival. Please ask him," said Katie.


    Then the two guards went inside and asked Fred about Katie. Not long after, they came out and let


    Katie in. She walked slowly into the luxurious and spacious house that looked uninhabited and very


    quiet.


    Then, someone called out to her. "Katie, go up to the second floor and meet me at the very end of the


    room."
