Chapter 5


    Toote, Peter dies right in Fred''s arms. The man cried and shouted the name of his best friend and


    personal assistant. Peter returned in human form, his face looked peaceful and smiling, at least he had


    said what he wanted to say to Fred. With a limp, Fred carried his friend''s body and carried him away


    from the bloodied battle arena while continuing to say a word.


    "I''m sorry," said Fred.


    Several packs in the State of Vermont are incorporated and under a High Court headed by three


    powerful leaders to regte, try and decide everything. Among the three leaders of the High Court,


    there is one mysterious leader and no one has ever seen his face. During a meeting between all the


    packs, this mysterious leader is behind the curtain, and everything is helped by one of his assistants.


    The ck Skull Pack and the Blood Moon Pack include packs that are under the leadership of the High


    Court. Fred is an Alpha in the ck Skull Pack. And the fight in the middle of the forbidden forest


    happened because of the challenge that Fred gave to the Alpha Blood Moon Pack with one goal,


    namely, killing him and taking everything that belonged to him.


    Meanwhile, the next day, Bruce along with the police and rescue team went back into the forest and


    down the edge of the cliff to the bottom of the abyss. That morning, the sky had begun to lighten and


    the fog had cleared, making it easier for them to see.


    Sean and a few cops waited at the edge of the cliff. It took several hours for them to finally reach the


    bottom of the abyss. Nothing looks strange around them, just like the appearance on the cliff, the


    appearance at the bottom of the abyss looks like an uninhabited dense forest.


    Sheriff Webb led the rescue mission walking in front, followed by the rescue team and Bruce in tow.


    They walked slowly and carefully through the dense forest that looked scary until finally, they saw an


    old and damaged house located in the middle of the forest.


    Cautiously, they approached the house and found Lisa and Scott still asleep on the dirty and dusty floor


    of the house. Bruce was very happy and sad to see Lisa''s condition covered in blood spots all over her


    body. Meanwhile, Sheriff Webb seemed to recognize Scott and immediately checked his condition.


    Without waiting long, Bruce immediately approached Lisa and hugged her.


    "Lisa, you''re finally safe. I''m sorry for taking too long to find you." Bruce hugged his daughter tightly.


    Lisa, who was originally still asleep, immediately opened her eyes and found her father and several


    other people standing in front of her.


    "Dad," she said slowly.


    Bruce let go of his arms and looked straight into Lisa''s face and asked, “Which part hurts? Tell me."


    "My hands hurt and I can''t move my body too."


    Meanwhile, Sheriff Webb approached Scott and asked, “Mr. Hanson, are you all right? Tell me which


    part other than your arm is injured.”


    Scott, who had opened his eyes, then replied, "Sheriff Webb?"


    "Yes, it''s me. Please tell me, which part other than your arm was injured?” asked Sheriff Webb.


    "Only my arm was hurt, nothing else," Scott answered quietly.


    Lisa and Scott''s bodies were shivering from the cold after a long night in the cold, their skin was pale


    and cold. The rescue team immediately approached them and tried to treat the wounds and warm the


    bodies of the two before taking them up the cliff.


    After making an initial rescue, Lisa and Scott are carried up a cliff. Bruce carried his daughter''s body,


    while the rescue team supported Scott''s body.


    Without any significant obstacles, the rescue mission waspleted and ended sessfully. Scott


    and Lisa were taken to the hospital in two different ambnces. However, something strange felt in


    Lisa''s heart when the two separated and got into different ambnces, the girl''s heart beat faster.


    Just before the girl got into the ambnce, she turned and stared at Scott''s back. As if knowing he was


    being watched, Scott looked back and met Lisa''s gaze.


    The girl blushed with embarrassment for stealing nces at a man she had just met. She immediately


    nced the other way and became embarrassed. However, to thank the man who had helped her, she


    looked back at the man while waving her hand and said, "Thank you."


    Scott looked at her with a gentle gaze and there was something Lisa couldn''t quite tell. To Lisa, the


    look in his eyes was mysterious, as if they were hiding something dark and secret.


    Then, Scott replied to Lisa''s words, "You''re wee."


    For some reason, Lisa felt the man was very less speaking. Not like the guys at school who talk a lot.


    For Lisa, Scott doesn''t talk much and his behavior seems to imply that the man is not random. He took


    everything into ount and acted carefully.


    Then, Lisa immediately got into the ambnce which was followed by Bruce and Sean. In the car the


    three of them hugged each other and cried, even Sean repeatedly apologized to his older sister for not


    being able to catch her arm when she was about to fall into the abyss.


    "It''s okay, Sean. Stop ming yourself. Do you see? I''m fine, right?" said Lisa while looking at Sean''s


    face.


    "I''m d you survived, otherwise—" Sean replied.


    "Don''t talk about it again. The most important thing now is that I''m here with you," said Lisa.


    The affection between the two brothers made the atmosphere even more touching, that was how the


    nurse who was in the same ambnce felt. Lisa and Sean''s rtionship is getting closer, especially


    after the death of their mother.


    Slowly the convoy of ambnces left the temporary headquarters. Everyone involved in the rescue


    mission left the horrific and scary forbidden forest area too.
