Chapter 23: Don''t Tell Anyone!

After dealing with the pack business, i head straight to Rohan information guild to meet an important
customer as scheduled. And so, i wore my usual ck mask, that barely resembled a dragon''s wrath.
The servant bows, {"Alpha, she''s here."}
I nod.
I entered the room, the dim light fluttered around her as she sat impatiently on the chair, her eyes
through the mask slightly showing displease.
As far as i know, Ms. nk wasn''t one to show emotions. We''d conduct business as quietly as
possible. She''s straight to the point and do her tasks well.
So this is a first. Seeing that she''s irritated?
{"Ms. nk, it''s nice to meet you again. Did i make you wait too long?"} I greeted, sping my hand
together.
{"I told you to stop calling me that."}
I chuckled. {"Well, you wouldn''t tell me your name so i came up with one. Now tell me, What
information do you need now-"}
Wait a minute.
My eyes broadened when i saw the familiar ne around her neck. Isn''t that the same ne as
Venus? Don''t tell me...They''re the same person?
I carefully nced at her and inspected her figure. Though she was wearing a shabby ck one-piece
that covered her body, her height was approximately the same. Her eyes in the right position, and her
voice was strangely familiar too.
I grinned, the simrity is too great. So we''ve met even before that night? How intriguing.
{"I need all information regarding the Great five packs."}
{"That''s easy, we''ll get it ready for you in two hours. If you don''t mind, can we chat for a bit?"} I asked
excitedly.
I wanted to ask her about many things. Since we''ve only talked about business in this form, i was
wondering how much information i''d get from her.
In short, i want to tease her a bit.
I slowly strode towards her, but as soon as i tried to lean on her ear, she quickly pushes me away.
Through her mask, i saw her disgusted gaze that made me chuckle.
{"What are you doing?"} She growls lowly.
{"I just wanted to share some secret with you? I wouldn''t want others to hear, right?"}
{"What the hell are you talking about? this room is heavily soundproof."}
I smiled coyly. I knew that for a fact, what i didn''t was that she even knew that. Has she been here too
many times that she memorized her surroundings?
I''ll just get straight to the point.
{"Don''t you want to know who''s behind this mask?"}
{"No. Let''s get straight to the point. What do you want me to do?"} She speaks frankly.
Hmm? How dull.
{"You reallyck personality."} I said in a low voice, {"Always straight to business? Well, We don''t have
a task for you to do yet, we''ll contact you once we decide on one."}
I sighed. I mean i expect her to be frank and boring since she''s always been like that during the past
transactions, But knowing that she''s Venus, i''d expected for her to be more cunning and talkative.
I take back what i said. She has too many personalities to disy, yet she''s more like an actress in
y. We''ve tried prying into her information once, and because of that we almost lost her. All we know
about her is that she''s from SunDale Pack- other than that, we weren''t allowed to know anything.
Just.. who are you?
{"Okay,"} she replied, {"If that''s all, you can leave."}
I chuckled, {"I''m the guild master you know, aren''t you being too nd?"}
{"...."} She didn''t answer.
As i stared at her, I wonder what her real thoughts are? What life she had lived that she was able to
hide her emotions so well? I didn''t want to push her buttons more than i have so i turned a heel and left
the room as she wanted.
{"No worries, there''s plenty of time to reveal more of your secrets."}

Present -
She held the ring dangling on her ne and nced at me, "So this is what you meant when you
said you''ll contact me soon? What do you want me to do?"
I smirked.
"Since you''re such a great actress, won''t you y with me?"
"What are you talking about?"
"You''ll know soon." I replied curtly, "And if you can, try not to kill me again. Can you? How can you
benefit from the Rohan''s if you kill the owner?"
She raises an eyebrow, "I can do that, as long as you promise not to expose me to anyone."
Iughed. She''s right about her fear, she should fear that i could expose her at any time. She''s a spy
from Sundale, and i also know her true form- i have all her hidden cards, yet it seems there''s more to
her than that.
"Don''t worry, as long as you entertain me..." I stood, strode towards her and pinned her on the wall
behind her, "... You don''t have to worry about anything. I''ll even help you. After all, we''re business
partners, right?"
I''m deadly curious. I grinned, How far can you amuse me Venus?
*EASTON''s POV*
We were on our way to patrol the borders when Alpha Derek speedily summoned me through mindlink.
''Come to my office, now!'' He orders.
''Yes Alpha,''
Luckily though, i didn''t have to worry about leaving my post since Noah was with me. I turned to him,
"Hey man, Alpha is calling me. Don''t forget to collect the report-"
"Yeah yeah, quit nagging."
"I''m serious Noah, don''t mess this up like thest time."
He hisses, "Scram now or i might just change my mind and really mess things up!"
I sighed. Can i trust this dude? Well it''s been several months since we''ve trained together but he still
somehow holds a grudge against everyone. If he messes my duty like this, I''m the one who''ll get
punished.
When i made him handle my task thest time about the reinforcement of supplies, i was scolded for
three days straight by Alpha Derek. How can i not? This stupid motherf*cker, didn''t even bother
showing up to the negotiation site!
I can''t risk it this time again.
"How about this, if you don''t mess my task. I''ll treat you to anything you want. But of course, since
you''re the troublesome type. It can''t be something Beta Venus wouldn''t agree with."
"Deal!" He smiles smugly.

On my way to Alpha Derek, i was surprised to see a familiar motorcycle parked outside the house. My
curiosity got the best of me and i circled around it, i raised an eyebrow.
"Isn''t this?"
Alpha Seff? What is he doing here? I shrugged the thoughts for now and headed straight to Alpha
Derek. But as soon as i opened the door, my eyes widened when i saw him pacing back and forth.
"Alpha?"
He didn''t even seem to notice me until i closed the door shut behind me. Our eyes finally met and he
stopped, "Easton, Tell me, where did you get the information i told you to get about Venusst time?"
My eyebrow crumpled in confusion. "From the Rohan''s?"
"Damn it." He curses.
"What''s wrong Alpha? Did i make a mistake?"
"No, we can''t trust the Rohan''s about Venus''s information. They''ve met long before we even requested
for her information. Seff is probably hiding her information from me."
I don''t get it.
Aren''t Alpha Derek and Alpha Seff childhood friends? What''s with this subject about trust? And why is
he still questioning about Venus''s information? I thought he already epted her?
I coughed ufortably, "Alpha, Did Venus do something wrong? why are you suddenly suspecting
her-"
"I''m not suspecting her!"
"...but you''re asking for her information again likest time?"
He sighs, "It''s not like that! It''s not that i don''t trust her. It just bothers me that they''ve met way before
we did. You know Seff, he might''ve purposely tampered with her information to mess with me."
I gasped. Isn''t he just making excuses?

have to worry about him taking Cheryl as his luna in the future. I''ve teased him before about her yet
because he''s shown full disinterest, i didn''t bother bringing it up anymore.
Yet looks like he''s finallying to his senses!
