Chapter 20- Amara


    Leo growled and cursed under his breath.


    “How about we take Caleb and Carter inside first?” I asked to cut the tension.


    Leo gave me a hard re in reply making me shut up. He got up and stood in front of Asher’s kneeling


    self.


    “Exin yourself.” Leo growled.


    “I was mad because she said that we are over.” Asher mumbled confused.


    What is he confused about? His reaction or me leaving? Must be his reaction as he clearly don’t care


    about me.


    “And you expected her to not leave your sorry ass after you put her in this state?” Leo asked in a low


    menacing voice.

    “I didn’t knew the tales were true. I thought it was a myth. Mom and dad said that too. Besides, do you


    expect me to wait around for her toe back? Who knows how many men she would have been


    there with? Everyone has needs. Who knows if she hasn’t cheated on me till now? I meane on.


    You didn’t expect me to hang around, waiting for her like a love sick puppy, did you now?” Asher replied


    getting to his feet and smirked.


    That made my blood boil. Wow! Where did my sweet and caring mate go? It hurts like hell to think the


    person who is supposed to love you, wants you dead.


    “So in other words, you are ming her for you cheating her. Wonderful.” Leo seethed. “HER FATHER


    DIED BECAUSE OF YOUR STUPIDITY. SHE ALMOST DIED TOO AND YOU ARE TELLING ME IT IS


    HER FAULT THAT YOU CAN’T KEEP YOUR FUCKING DICK IN YOUR PANTS. YOU FUCKING


    MURDERER.”


    I felt something swirl inside me. What was that? It felt like papa but different.


    “If she wouldn’t have gone, we would be living happily now.” Asher said smugly.


    “What would you have done, if she had died?” Stan asked.


    Asher looked a little ufortable but he quickly covered it with a smirk. Well he did kill my father.


    “Good riddance.” He said smirking at me. “But she is not right so if it doesn’t work out with Olivia, she


    can always warm my bed.”


    That was it. Leo gave an almighty roar and lunged at Asher. It took me a moment to register what was


    happening. Leo started wing anywhere he could get his ws on Asher. Stan tried to stop him but to


    no avail. Asher wailed and screamed in pain for help but no one could pry Leo off. How the hell did he


    manage to get his ws out? He can’t half shift. None of them can.


    “YOU KILLED MY FATHER.” Leo snarled. “YOU HURT MY SISTER. I ALMOST LOST HER BECAUSE


    OF YOU. YOU UNGRATEFUL SON OF A BITCH. I WILL KILL YOU AND YOUR PARENTS WILL


    SUFFER FOR WHAT YOU DID.”


    Wait sister… father…holly hell. That’s when I noticed. His eyes were glowing. Tyler is in control of Leo’s


    body. I need to do something. I don’t think I will be able to survive through Asher’s death. Another


    shock will send me directly to the coffin and papa will die with me.


    “Tyler.” I called him. He stopped and looked at me breathing heavily. His canines were out. “Please


    stop. I know he deserves this but I want to live and I don’t think I will be able to survive his death.


    Atleast not now. Please.”


    He whimpered. I gave him my hand to take which I am d he took with his bloody ws and stood up


    in front of me with a very sorrowful face. He looked like a wounded puppy. Looking at him like that


    made my heart clench. We had both lost our father at the hand of the person we trusted. Well not really


    lost but still. I haven’t told him that yet. Tyler scooped me in his arms and buried his face in my neck. I


    felt him tremble as he cried for his loss. I wanted to cry too but I have to stay strong for him and Ryder.


    Papa can’t do that for us anymore. I bit my lip to stop myself from crying and encircled him with my


    arms as much as I can. Our moment was broken when Asher’s parents came out of their house,


    running and crying for their beaten and bloody son whom apparently everyone has forgotten till now.


    Tyler still had his arm around me.


    “My baby.” Christine hollered, sitting next to a very bloody and unmoving Asher.


    “YOU” Arthur bellowed pointing towards me. “YOU DID THIS TO MY SON.”


    Arthur advanced towards me but stopped when Tyler growled at him.


    “Your son and you did this to yourself.” Tyler growled.


    “What do you mean Alpha and why are you like this?” Arthur had the audacity to ask.


    “You don’t know what you did Arthur?” Tyler asked tilting his head to the side.


    He looked murderous. Arthur shook on his foot.


    “You are lucky my brother isn’t here or you and that bastard of yours would be six feet under by now.”


    Tyler hissed. Arthur looked confused a little and scared beyond major. “As for your punishment, Asher
