"ARE YOU KIDDING ME ITS BEEN A FUCKING MONTH," a deep voice thunders, and secondster
the sound of a ss breaking reverberates across the silent room.
The air is tense and ragged breathing is heard, after a few moments foot steps leaving and the sound
of a door being mmed shut.
It was dark, she couldn''t feel her body, she was trying to open her eyes but they refused to open, after
a long hard struggle Venus opened her eyes to an empty hospital room, no one was there, they had
left, and before she could make a sound she had already drifted back to her unconscious state.

Heated with rage and restlessness Dante skimmed across the piles and piles of paperwork in his office.
His dark locks dis levelled and a stubble growing on his strong jaw, his body tense and shoulders
straight.
It had been a month since Venus has got kidnapped, right after she got rushed to the hospital the pack
doctor said it was toote and the wolfsbane had already spread across her body, she couldn''t make it.
Hearing that Dante was to lose his mate, the alpha threatened to end the pack doctor if he didn''t help
his mate heal.
After days of uncertainty and constant rushing back and forth, a lot of wolfsbane got manager to be
taken out of Venus''s system, with stomach washes and blood pumps, but in the middle of it all Venus
got a seizure.
Her body ready to shut down for good, in the midst of panic and fear of losing their Luna, the pack
doctor demanded the alpha to give Venus his blood, because since her wolf was not there to heal her
and all the wolfsbane in her body she did not stand a chance.
Dante quickly bit into his wrist, canines extended, and he put his then bloody wrist to Venus''s mouth
while holding down her thrashing body with the other, making her drink his blood, and since he was a
lycan and an alpha, his blood was strong enough to stop her seizure and since that day, they would
inject his blood into her to help her heal.
Dante rubbed his face in exhaustion, he missed her, and he just wanted her back, the thought of losing
her made his lycan go crazy.
"You know if you re at those papers a while longer they might catch fire," a voice teased from the
doorway.
Dante looked up to see Ariana leaning again the door frame with her arms crossed, doing nothing to
hide the cleavage that was ready to spill over her flimsy shirt.
"What is it?" Dante grumbled, looking back at the papers.
"You just seem so tense Dante, i just wanted to talk," she said, walking towards him while swaying her
slim hips.
"You will address me as Alpha, and your presence is not needed," Dante said coldly.
Ariana pouted and stood in front of his chair.
"Dante don''t be mean, have you forgotten all those times you''d call me at night wanting me-" she said
seductively, as she moved his chair around so he was facing her.
"All those times I''ve screamed out your name when you were so deep insi-" she got cut off by a loud
ferocious growl, Dante stood to his full length, his eyes turning dark, his lycan was taking over, just to
think of anyone other than his mate made him snap.
"If you ever evene near me again I''ll kill you," Dante hissed in rage, his eyes now aplete
demonic ck.
Knox and Gabriel who were walking towards the office witnessed a sobbing and trembling Ariana leave
the alphas office, startled they looked at each other and ran in, Dante had his hip perched against the
dark mahogany desk as he looked out the window, his shoulders taunt and the air tense.
"Dante what happened," knox asked, cautiously.
The alpha scoffed,
"She tried to seduce me, the bitch, thest time she tried Venus almost killed her, and this time I almost
did, had Venus been here she-" he stopped, and an eerie silence settled in the office room.

The beta and gamma looked at each other, they both knew their alpha missed their luna terribly.
"Dante we know its hard right now, but keep the faith for her, she needs you a-" Gabriel got cut off
when his eyes got zed over, someone was mind linking him.
Dante turned around and ced his hands on the desk, a frown on his face.
Gabriel blinked back and gulped.
"Its Venus- shes awake,"
Without a second to waste Dante was out of the door and making his way towards the pack hospital.
He rushed into her room and found doctors and nurses surrounding her, as she calmly sat with her
hands folded in herp, the bruises from her face gone and just a bandage wrapped around her head
from getting her head hit.
Venus looked his way and blinked.
No one moved.
"Venus," Dante called out softly, afraid to startle her.
The doctors took that as they cue to leave.
She still didn''t move and just stared at him.
"Baby say something, i missed you so much," Dante said, sitting next to her on the bed and gently
taking her small hands in hisrge rough ones.
Venus was confused, who was this man?
"Who are you?" She asked, tilting her head to the side.
Dante didn''t bat an eye.
"Sweetheart do you not remember who i am?" He asked mly, still keeping his fear of the fact that
she might have forgotten him under control.
"No,"
Dante was quiet and only nodded his head, and after a few moments of tense silence he spoke up.
"Venus, im your mate, Dante,"
"Dante?" She said, testing his name and he loved the way it rolled off her tongue.
"Yes,"
"We are mates?" She asked
"Yes we are,"
"Oh," was her only reply
"Do you remember anything?" He asked, frowning.
"I-I''m not so sure, i tried to remember but my head hurts when i do," she said, wincing slightly, and
Venus was dumbstruck by how at ease she felt with this tall dark and handsome man that was
apparently her ''mate''.
"Hey its okay, just don''t tire yourself out, but can you try remembering thest thing?" He asked, trying
to make her feelfortable and not pressurised.
"Thest thing I remember is being in a gas station," she said.
Dante bit his lower nip and nodded in thought.
Venus then assessed him, he was tall and broad, with a muscr build, tattoos elongated on his arms
and his face ruggedly handsome. He was beautiful, a sight for sore eyes.
His being screamed power and strength.
"Why cant i feel my wolf?" Venus asked quietly.
