Chapter 6
Amelia''s POV
To say that the pce looked huge would be an understatement. It looks magnificent. i was looking at it
in awe, when my brother nudged me to walk forward.
I walked forward following the guards. As we entered the pce we took couple of turns and up the
staircase. Soon we reached a double door. I looked at it and back to my brother.
That''s when I smelt him. He was standing inside. I also smelt few others. Ang have stopped few
steps away. She gave me soft smile.
My brother led me inside as I followed. I looked around the room and it was in gold. I am pretty sure
this is the throne room. I saw a few old men in the room.
Upon hearing of the doors, everyone''s head turn to us. I quickly hid behind my brother. My brother was
well built enough to hide mepletely. I was pretty small so it wasn''t that difficult.
"Wee Beta Nathan. Where is she?" I heard someone ask. My brother step aside to show me. The
moment he did that, my mouth went wide. I probably looked like a gold fish.
I looked in front to see about 9 old men. All of them stepped forward towards me. "Hello dear. We are
called the elders. My name is Anderson." he said as everyone start to introduce themselves.
I tried my best to remember all their names. "We hear you are Alpha King''s mate. Is that true?" he
asked me.
I kept my mouth shut not knowing what to say. He sighed before continuing to talk. "You don''t have
anyone to fear. You can tell us the truth." he said assuring me.
Slowly I nodded my head. "Well its confirmed than. We officially have a Luna Queen." the elder told
everyone.
"She is HUMAN." We heard a voice boom from across the room. The voice sent chills down my spine
and I knew than that it was him.
I saw dark figure walking towards us. It was him. The moment I saw his face, I felt my heart break. His
face consisted of distaste and anger. Towards me.
I flinched when I saw that. I can''t believe my own mate is looking at me like that. The elder beside me
spoke.
"She is still your mate. The Kingdom''s Queen and your pack Luna." he said sternly. He rolled his eyes.
"She is needed now more than ever. The moon goddess paired you guys for a reason." he exined.
"Look my child, you would know vaguely about the witch problem. Your connection to the pack and
Kingdom is what that''s going to make everyone stronger."
I nodded my head in understanding. "You have to be marked soon and the coronation has to take ce
soon." he said making my eyes go wide.
He just smiled at me sadly. "How am I supposed to mark her?" The Alpha King growled angrily. Seeing
him angry made me scared as I clutched on to my brother.
I sensed that my brother was tensed due to everything. I tried to calm him by squeezing his hand. He
smiled down at me.
"You have too. The battle is in less than a week. The witches areing at us. You don''t have much of
a choice." One of the elders said.
He groaned before pulling his hair. Without saying anything, he just walked away out of the room. We
all stood there not knowing what to say.
"Jerk." my brother mumbled before turning to me. "Don''t worry. He''lle around." he said looking at
me. I just nodded my head.
"You''ll be staying in the pce from now onwards for your safety." the elder said. I nodded my head in
understanding. "Also your coronation will be happening in 2 days time. He''ll mark you during
coronation."
I got shocked. This is all too fast. "I understand you are feeling overwhelmed. But you have to
understand us dear." he said as I nodded my head in understanding.
"Bring her to her room, Beta Nathan." another elder. Nathan slowly guided me outside. "I am sorry I
was mad at you for not telling us about you being mated to Alpha King."
"I understand now why you didn''t tell." "Its ok." I said smiling softly at him. We went up couple of steps.
Before stopping at thest second floor.
He guided me towards a room and opened it for. I saw some of my suitcase was already there.
Knowing it must have been the guards I shrugged it off.
"Nathan can I ask you something?" "Sure. What is it?" he asked as he sat in the bed. I went and sat
beside him. "Can I continue to go to college? Please?"
"I don''t know baby sister." he sighed. "Please. Today was only my first day and I am already here. So
please?" I begged him.
"Let me see how." he said assuring me. I hugged him happily. "Thank you so much. Will you be staying
in the pce?" I asked him hopefully.
"Yes. Just one floor down baby sister. You cane down anytime you want.". I nodded my head.
Soon he left as I was once again stuck in my own memories.
I really needed a shower. I quickly went and took a shower. I wore my grey sweatpants with grey
hoodie. My stomach started to growl.
I went out remembering Nathan saying there is a pantry in the floor. I tried finding for the pantry when
atst I did.
I grabbed some pastries and did hot chocte. I sat there, eating and start thinking about everything
that has happened.
Why am I mated to the Alpha King? Why me out of all people? There are so many people out there
who are stronger and prettier.
The thought of other female mated to him, makes me mad. But its true. I finished my pastries and was
going to my room, when I saw him stumbling up the stairs.

He didn''t notice me as he''s back was facing me. I realised he was drunk stumbling up the stairs. I
wanted to help him, but knew it would anger him.
So I fight urge to go help him and return to my room. After 5 minutes, I heard my door knock. Smelling
its Nathan, I asked him toe in.
"Hey baby sister. I have spoke to the elders, and they are ok with you going to going back to college.
But however, during coronation day, you can''t." he exined.
I nodded my head with glee. "Thank you so much.". To which he chuckled. "No worries. Now go to bed.
You must be tired." the moment he said I let a yawn.
We said goodnight as I fall asleep.
