    Sabrina''s POV


    One and a half hours had passed, and the enemies were getting nearer and nearer to the first mountain where we were currently at, and we were anxiously waiting for them. I was up in the tall trees while the others were hiding in the dark. I didn''t know I was subconsciously biting my lips in anticipation.


    If our n fails, we''ll be in great danger.


    Lucia had her bow ready and on full alert. We nodded at each other and made some signals to La, Allia, and Clinton. Each passing time, I couldn''t help but feel nervous. I just hope that Azrael will cooperate or else our ns will go downhill.


    Using Clinton''s magic, which is to block everyone from sensing our auras, is a really big help. I''ve been impatient when the enemies entered the forest, but it looks like all of them were alert because they were scanning the whole forest. Their voices echoed around the entire mountain in which was so unpleasant in the ears. All the warriors just walked straight to find the exit of the mountain. I smirked because all of them are so stupid.


    Few of the warriors who walked first screamed in horror as they fell into our trap. An hour ago, Allia and I made the trap while Clinton had his trap too. La and Lucia also teamed up together to set a dangerous trap. Allia and I dug a hole in the ground which measures up to 20ft by 25ft wide with 15ft deep. The trapping pit we made was camouged with small branches and leaves to make it harder to see. A total of 20 warriors had fallen and bled to death by sharpened sticks pointed upwards from the bottom of the pit.


    All of them ignored the dead by the King''smand and continued walking as nothing happened. But some of them are on high alert. They don''t know what awaits them ahead. A grin stered on my lips deviously. Minutes passed and screams echoed again in the whole mountain, causing the flying animals to escape in horror. I''m jumping from tree to tree and stopped when I can already see the situation. Clinton is a genius.


    Every, there were 10 warriors trapped inside. There were 6s in total and when I looked up, a huge bag of animal blood poured down endlessly to the victims and they screamed. But it''s not stopped there yet because a group of bugs surrounded the warriors and they couldn''t do anything but scream at the top of their lungs. They use their power, but it seems like the bugs multiplied in numbers. Some witches and wizards tried to help the trapped warriors, but it just worsened because the other bugs attacked them. The screams died down and the warriors who trapped were no longer breathing and it''s so gross because the bugs ate their flesh. It''s so surprising because the bugs suddenly retreated to their homes up in the trees.


    Now that they witnessed such a bloody encounter, everyone was on high alert.


    I spotted Azrael, King Stephen, Michelle, and other werewolves who were on high alert while looking up into the trees. It''s like they know we''re here. Lucia hid in one of the huge trees near Azrael while La pushed something on the tree across Lucia. In just a snap, a lot of arrows were flying so fast towards the enemies.


    "Get down!!!" someone shouted when they saw theing arrows. But it''s toote because it already hit them. They groaned in pain and the whole forest was in chaos. The arrows had


    poison and the one who got hit had only 1 minute to live if not treated right away. A wizard spotted La and was about to attack her, but I quickly dodge its attack using my fast


    arrows.


    "Up in the trees!" they shouted, and I quickly jumped to another tree, then jumped to the ground and hid in the dark.


    Now the hunting starts. I cursed under my breath when an arrow almost hit me in the head. I quickly hide in the trees.


    ''I already got Azrael,e to our meeting ce!'' Lucia said using a mind link, and I quickly ran towards La when I saw some warriors chasing and attacking her.


    "La! Hold my hand!" I said and reached my hand to her. She screamed when she stumbled on the ground and I gasped to see blooding out from her arms. Sh*t!


    Not wasting any time, I ran back towards La and held her then teleported away from our enemies. It''s the fastest way to get out from there. I released a deep breath when I sessfully teleported us in the west woods where we n to meet after we get Azrael.


    "Sabrinal Lal What happened?" Allia and Lucia said in worry.


    "I got shot with an arrow," La mumbled while grunting in pain. The arrow is still buried in her arms. I sighed.


    "La, it will be painful," I said and held the arrows. She groaned and nodded painfully. "Make it fast!" she said while gritting her teeth and she took a deep breath.


    Without a signal, I pulled out the arrow from her arms. She cried out in pain and breathed heavily. But she suddenly felt weak, I stared at the arrow and my heart rate quickens when my gaze fixated on the green substance left in the arrow. What shocked me was, I know who is the owner of this arrow.


    "Sh*t! The arrow had poison!" I mumbled nervously.


    "What?"


    I quickly cast a spell to remove the poison from La''s body. I sighed in relief when sessfully remove the poison or else La will die.


    Using my healing magic, I put my hands on her wounds and it slowly healed. La sighs in relief when she doesn''t feel pain anymore.


    "Thank you, Sabrina. I owe you my life," she said, and I just nodded.


    I looked at Lucia and my gaze met with Azrael. His hands were both tied in his back while Lucia and Clinton held him.


    "Sabrina, La..." Azrael mumbled. I just looked at him coldly.


    La and I walked towards them and I noticed Azrael''s swollen lips. Oh, did he receive a good punch?


    La was ring daggers at Azrael. "What do you want from me?" Azrael asked.


    "Because we need you to bring Alex back," I replied.


    "What do you mean?" he asked with furrowed eyebrows.


    "Tsk. You don''t even have any idea? Because of you, Alex''s emotions were provoked and her beast controlled her bodypletely! This is all your fault if you hadn''t betrayed her, this wouldn''t have happened!" La said and med Azrael bluntly.


    Guilt crossed Azrael''s face, and he bowed down his head. "I.. I didn''t know."

    I sighed, "La, stop! He''s at fault, yes, but we need him to bring Alex back. Come on, our time is only limited and we still need to save Luke." I said, and she went silent. I looked at


    Lucia and nodded.


    She cast a spell to open a portal and ushered us to get in first. Allia and Clinton went in, followed by La, who was still ring daggers at Azrael. I nodded at Azrael and he went in, then Lucia and I followed.


    "This is the second mountain." I heard La uttered.


    I looked around and we were indeed back on the second mountain. Why would Lucia bring


    us here?


    "I know what you''re thinking." we all looked at her quizzically.


    "Why?" I asked.


    "Because someone had followed us and entered the portal." we all gasped and looked around until I spotted a bat not far away from us.


    "Vampire!" I uttered and took out my bow and arrow, but the bat suddenly transformed into his vampire form.


    I was stunned to see Vorges.


    "Sabrina! Don''t shoot me!" he said.


    "Why are you following us?" I asked calmly, and I put my arrow down.


    "I have something to tell you," he said reluctantly.


    "What is it? Vorges, we don''t have time for some b*llsh*t." I spat angrily.


    "It''s important. It''s about Demonise," he said, not tearing his gaze away from me.


    My forehead creased. "Vorges, what are you talking about? Who is Demonise? Cut the crap.


    you''re wasting our time!" I said while ring at him.


    "Wait, you don''t know Demonise?" he asked, baffled.


    "Are you ying with us, Vorges? I swear, I will kill you!" this annoying Vampire made me lose my patience. "Let''s go." I said but quickly froze on my feet when Vorges'' voice echoed in my head.


    "Look, Demonise is Alexandria," he said, and I turned back to look at him and grabbed his cor while gritting my teeth. He was shocked at my outburst.


    "What do you mean?!" I yelled.


    "I saw her," he said calmly.


    "Tell me. Where did you see her?!*


    "Release me first." I pushed him away, and he almost stumbled on the ground. He cleared


    his throat and looked straight into my eyes.


    "I''ll tell you but answer my question first, who is Luke?" he said and Allia ran towards us then grabbed Vorges arms while trembling.


    "Did you see my son? Please tell me! We need to save my son!" Allia begged while shaking Vorges and tears rolled down her face.


    Vorges was stunned and seemed lost for a second. "Is he a little boy?" he asked, not certain.


    "Yes! Vorges, did you see him?'' I interrupt.


    "Yes, and I think he''s in great danger." what?!


    "What??! No! My baby!" Allia said and cried loudly. Clinton grabbed Allia and hugged her tightly.


    "Please tell us where our son is," Clinton begged. Vorges just locked at us, puzzled.


    "Vorges, where is he?!" I said while gritting my teeth.


    "But Sabrina, it''s dangerous." he reluctantly said.


    "JUST TELL ME! DAMN IT!" I yelled in frustration and grabbed his cor again.


    "Demonise got him! I don''t know what she''s doing, but she used her dark powers on the boy.


    I only heard the boy grunted in pain. I contemted whether to save the boy or not because Demonise saw me. But I''m afraid she''d kill me! She''s a monster we don''t want to mess with!" he said. And I was stunned.


    Demonise? Vorges said Demonise is Alex. Is he talking about the beast? Does it mean Alex''s beast name is Demonise? Crap.


    I stopped grabbing his cor and pulled my hands down, "Vorges, we need to stop Alex''s beast. If the beast gets what she wants, it will be the end of us. Please, bring us where they are now."


    He contemted, but I looked at him with pleading eyes. He sighed and nodded. "Okay." "Where are they?" Lucia asked Vorges.


    "In the first mountain, at the dead-end of the east part of the forest," he replied and we are all dumbfounded.


    We are so close to them all this time! How is it possible that we didn''t sense them? That strong aura might be from Demonise? Oh crap.


    Lucia opened the portal immediately. We didn''t waste any time and get inside the portal. I hope we aren''t toote to save Luke.


    It was too dark when we stepped into the forest. Because of the huge trees, the light is just slightly peeking through the leaves. We let Vorges lead the way, and we followed. Vorges suddenly stopped and gasped. What happened? I followed his gaze and I couldn''t help but also gasped in shock. Later on, all of us were stunned at the sight. No! My jaw dropped incredulously.


    The huge trees were now covered with electricity and lightning, then the sunlight is now hiding from the dark clouds. The sky was nowpletely dark, but we still could see Demonise who was inside the lightning ball.


    Luke''s body was also floating inside the magic ball and I was bbergasted because there were strings around his body that were connecting to Demonise body. It''s like a transfusion of powers-wait, I think Luke''s power is augmentation, Luke can enhance others'' abilities. Does it mean, Demonise uses Luke to enhance her powers? Now we''re doomed because we are toote to stop her. Now I know why Demonise took the kid.


    A loud gasped left my mouth when a huge hole appeared above the trees. It''s like a whirlwind.


    "Noooool My babyyy!" Allia screamed and ran faster.


    Clinton reacted immediately and grabbed Allia back, and they stumbled into the ground when the wind blew more furiously towards us.


    I felt someone grabbed my wrist and pulled me in a tight embrace. What the?! I wiggled and looked at Vorges dangerously, but he never let go of me. "Sabrina, stop, or else the strong force will pull us towards the huge hole." I gulped when I realize what he meant. I looked up at him and our gaze locked at each other.


    La screamed get me back on my trance and I quickly looked at her. She was almost pulled by the strong forcel Good thing Lucia grabbed her just in time and hid in the trees while gripping tightly on the tree''s body. I saw Clinton and Allia also hiding in the huge visible


    roots of the tree. Allia was crying loudly this time and keep punching Clinton''s chest, but he never let her go.


    Theard a loud growl, and it was Azrael who transformed into his wolf''s form and wing the ground while fighting the strong force.


    "Azrael!" I yelled when he was slowly dragged by the strong force. I wanted to help him, but


    Vorges didn''t allow me, and his grip on me tightened more. "Sabrina, stop! I won''t let you go. It was so dangerous!"


    I''ll help him, Vorges! He was our only hope to bring Alex back!" I said on the verge of crying


    because of frustration. With all my strength, I forcefully pushed Vorges away. I looked back at Azrael and my jaw dropped. My world slowly spinning when Azrael floated in the air and the strong force was pulling him upwards.


    I quickly took the glowing rope in my pocket and throw it towards Azrael. He grunted in pain when I sessfully wrapped Azrael''s body with my glowing rope and pulled him. He growled loudly in pain and I was stunned when I remembered that this rope is made of silver. I also heard Demonise grunted in pain. They are mates so they can feel each other''s pain. The force is so strong and I barely managed to pull Azrael back.


    "Vorges! Help me!" I yelled and he quickly helped me pull the rope to stop the force from pulling Azrael.


    Lucia ran towards us and help pull the rope. Azrael''s loud growls stinging into our ears. He was in extreme pain because of the rope, but if we will let him go, the huge hole above will take him.


    I was dumbfounded when lightning struck my rope and we all stumbled onto the ground. The rope is cut by the lightning! The strong force sessfully pulled Azrael towards the huge hole filled with electricity and lightning above.


    "Nooooooo!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, but it was toote. Tears rolling down my face nonstop.


    I couldn''t believe my eyes when Demonise''s unconscious body separated from Luke''s body and just like Azrael, the huge hole like whirlwind took Demonise too. And suddenly the huge hole closed itself and the sky turned back to normal.


    I saw Luke''s unconscious body slowly dropped to the ground. Allia and Clinton saw it too and quickly ran to catch their child.


    I couldn''t react because I was too shocked to say a word. It happened too fast. What are we going to do now?


    I felt arms wrapped around me tightly. My tears poured down on my face endlessly. I failed to bring Alex back.


    Our mission failed. I groaned when my head hurts then my vision getting blurry and I felt weak.
