Chapter 11

    Chapter 11

    Sabrina''s house was so big and beautiful. Big chandeliers were hanging from the ceiling. The tiles were

    white and ck; the wall was jet ck and there was a painting hanging on the walls. Oh, a typical

    house of a witch, but the interior was nice. But it wasn''t creepy, it felt sofortable. Maids in uniform

    suddenly piled up and greeted us. My mouth hung in awe.

    "Prepare the guest room," Sabrina ordered the maids. "And prepare some food."

    "Yes, Your Highness." All the maids said in unison and left, one by one.

    "Nice house," I mumbled.

    "Thanks. Follow me." Sabrina said and walked towards the stairs. La, Michelle, and I followed her in

    silence.

    It fascinated me how the interior of the house was designed. The stairs and the handrails were gold

    and the tile floor was white and ck with golden mist. It''s beautiful.

    We reached in front of a big door, and it opened automatically. Sabrina went in and then we followed.

    Inside the room was a big pile of books in every corner. There''s only one desk which I think belongs to

    Sabrina and two chairs in front of guests. There were also two long, big, ck leather sofas facing

    each other, with a center table on the side of the room. Everything in this room screams elegance and

    is expensive. I looked up and saw the big chandelier hanging in the ceiling that illuminates the entire

    room, making it more appealing in the eyes.

    "Have a seat," Sabrina mumbled and settled herself on the sofa. Michelle and La sat across from

    Sabrina, and that left me sitting beside Sabrina again. "So, we will talk about you, Andrea," she said,

    emphasizing my name.

    I stop the urge to roll my eyes. "What about me?"

    "You, being a hybrid."

    "What? You''re a hybrid?" Michelle uttered unbelievably.

    "I guess?" I said and shrugged. Michelle creased her forehead in confusion.

    "You don''t have any idea?" Sabrina asked, confused. I shook my head no.

    "I grew up in that pack, clueless of who I am. Who will tell me? My parents left me for good." I said

    sadly.

    Sabrina released a heavy sigh. "I guess, I''ll ask Clinton''s help," she whispered.

    "Who''s Clinton?" I asked with a creased forehead.

    "My wizard friend."

    "What?" I frowned.

    "Don''t worry, he''s trustworthy. He doesn''t meddle with someone else''s business."

    I creased my forehead. "How he can help?"

    "He can identify what you are."

    "I can''t trust him, Sabrina. Whereas, you were enough to know who I am. I can''t risk having too many

    people know who I am. It''s dangerous. Talking to you is even more dangerous."

    Sabrina narrowed her eyes and her lips twitched, then raised her eyebrows. "Yes, I am dangerous. But

    you are more dangerous than I am." I frowned.

    "I agree with her, Al… Andrea." La almost slipped. Michelle can''t know my real name. "I saw your

    transformation, you''re scary and dangerous at times." I frowned at La.

    "Your scents attract vampires, Andrea," Sabrina said seriously. I sighed.

    "I know. But, I can''t hide my scent fully anymore unlike before. It happened a few hours after my 18th

    birthday." I uttered, while remembering the pain I went through that night. La looks at me with a sad

    smile. She also remembered.

    Sabrina nodded, and her forehead creased again in confusion. "Your blood was also mixed. But, it''s

    hard to identify which bloodline you came from," she mumbled.

    Silence envelopes the room. But Michelle broke the silence and said, "What hybrid are you?" she said

    while staring at me.

    "All three, a werewolf, a vampire, and a witch," I answered, and Michelle gasped with widened eyes.

    "I read about hybrids and they are dangerous and more powerful, like the beasts," she uttered.

    "Beasts? Can you tell me about them?"

    "Beasts are hybrid creatures like chimeras. Rumors spread that they''re living in every river and

    mountains guarding it against the unwee visitors that wanted to go to the Tibbertan Mountains."

    Sabrina said, while looking at me. I nodded.

    "How powerful can they be?" I asked.

    "They are more powerful than you think. Hybrids are hard to kill, but..."

    "But?"

    "You can defeat them, Andrea," she said.

    "How sure are you?" I said with a creased forehead.

    "Because you are not just an ordinary hybrid like the beasts. You are more powerful than the beasts,

    but you need to train your powers before we will go to the Tibbertan Mountains."

    I heard Michelle gasping. "Are you nning to go to those mountains?!"

    "Yes."

    "Why?"

    "For answers." She nodded hesitantly.

    "Will you help me, Sabrina?" I said, looking into her eyes. She smiles and nods. I smiled back.

    "Well, you three can rest in the guest room. Maids were outside waiting for you to take you to your

    room." Sabrina said.

    I nodded. "Thanks, Sabrina." She just smiled and stood up. Then she vanished. Tsk. Witches use their

    powers so much.

    Michelle, La, and I walked out of that room and, like what Sabrina said, maids were waiting for us.

    They smiled and led us to our room.

    ~~~
    I yawned as I got up from the fluffy bed. I have never felt so good since waking up. This is the first time
    that I slept so well. I smile and walk towards a door that I think is the bathroom. Ugh, I need a shower!
    My smile grew when I saw a bathtub. I hurriedly turned on the faucet to fill the bathtub with water. I
    hastily stripped off my clothes and went inside the bathtub. I reach for the bottle full of liquid soap. It
    smelt so good. I pour some in the water and make some bubbles. I was enjoying myself when I smelled
    the scent of La in my room. Then my thirst came back. Ugh, damn blood thirsts. I hate being
    bloodsuckers because I can''t control my urges to suck someone''s neck.
    ‘Breathe, Alex. That''s La. You can''t harm her, right?’
    I know, Val.
    I breathed heavily and tried to control my bloodthirst. I sighed because it''s so hard.
    "Alex?"
    "I''m in the bathroom," I answered.
    "Okay, can Ie in?" I hummed, and the door flew open, revealing La in a new dress that suits
    Text property ? N?vel(D)ra/ma.Org.
    her. I smile at her.
    "Finally, you woke up," she said while grinning.
    I cocked an eyebrow at her. "Of course," I mumbled, and she chuckled.
    "Did you know you were sleeping for damn near 3 days straight?" my eyes widened in shock.
    Seriously? Did I sleep for 3 days?
    "What? How? I thought I was only sleeping for the night." Sheughed.
    "Sabrina said you exhaust yourself and your body rxes when in contact with the fluffy bed. And she
    said you might get thirsty when you wake up, so she prepared something for you."
    "What is it?" I asked with excitement.
    "Go figure it out."
    "Fine," I said and got up. La handed me a bathrobe, and I wrapped myself in it. I closed my eyes
    because I could smell La''s sweet scent, and it was tempting me. I want to bury my fangs in her
    neck. Damnit, what am I thinking? Damn, my vision turned red.
    "Alex, what are you doing?" La asked, stammering.
    I stepped backward when I noticed I was staring at La and almost touched her neck.
    "I... I''m sorry, La. Damn this bloodthirst!" I brushed my hand in my hair, frustrated.
    "It''s okay, Alex. I know your bloodthirst. Sabrina told me." I sighed in relief because thest thing I want
    is for La to fear me. "Go change and I''ll wait for you here." I nodded hastily, then walked towards the
    walk-in closet.
    I wore a pair of jean shorts and a white T-shirt, then paired it with ck leather boots. I pulled my hair
    up into a ponytail.
    When I got out of the walk-in closet, La stood up from the bed. "Let''s go." I nodded, and we walked
    out of the room. Then going downstairs. The maids saw us and greeted us in unison, then got back to
    their business after we greeted them back. My vision turned red as I smelled fresh blood. I wanted to
    suck their blood, but I controlled myself. La knows that the human blood triggers me, so she
    dragged me hastily going to who knows where.
    We reached a big double door, and I heard Sabrina and Michelle talking inside. The door opened, and
    we got inside. The smells of blood fill my nostrils, and it''s so damn hard to control this time. I growled.
    My vision turned into a darker shade of red.
    "Rx, Andrea. Come and join us." Sabrina said, but my eyes fixated on a jar full of blood. My thirst got
    the best of me, and I didn''t hesitate to grab the jar that was seated at the table. I drank all of it and left
    nothing. I put down the jar once it was empty.
    "Wow, you must be very thirsty," Sabrina mumbled while Michelle''s and La''s eyes widened in
    surprise.
    I grinned. "Thank you, Sabrina, but it wasn''t enough. I''m still thirsty. That was so good, better than the
    deer''s terrible blood."
    They all chuckled.
    "That''s enough blood for you. You must eat decent food. Now, sit." she ordered, and I pouted. I sat in
    the chairs beside La.
    Sabrina ps her hand, and the maids show up from nowhere while carrying some dishes. My eyes
    sparkled and my mouth watered when I saw all the food. I heard my stomach growl loudly. They all
    looked at me and burst outughing. I can''t help but join in theirughter. Who will not get hungry after
    sleeping three days straight?
    When the maid finished settling the food on the table, they left. I didn''t waste any time and dove into
    the food. My hunger is important right now. I eat faster than them and I don''t care. I grabbed the whole
    chicken and took a bite. I moaned in delight.
    Laughter filled my ear, and I looked at the three people weirdly. They were teary-eyed because of
    They were suppressing theirughter, and Sabrina cleared her throat to suppress herugh but failed
    miserably. I rolled my eyes and continued eating. There was still plenty of food on the table and I am
    not nning on leaving until it''s all gone.
    "Aren''t you nning to stop eating?"
    I looked at Sabrina and shook my head no, then eyed all the food at the table. "Never. Food is my life."
    I answered.
    Laughter filled the entire room again. I justughed mentally because my mouth was full. Food is
    heaven.
