    Mine and Kai''s moans echo through the room as we reach our climax together, screwing my glowing


    eyes shut, I lean into him to bite down on his neck and he does the same to me.


    Panting I roll off of Kai''s body, snuggling into him when I''m next to him on the bed. Wey together in

    confesses, slowly removing her hand from her face.

    Kai out of instinct wraps his arms around my body under the covers and pulls me closer to him, dipping

    I snort loudly, gaining two questioning looks from them. " I mean Dahlia you kind of had a minor melt


    down when you came in here. "


    " I did not! " She screeches.

    " Nope! I''m not having it! " I shake my head, throwing myself off of the bed before Kai can pull me back.


    Marching past the two siblings in the doorway with my head high, I go into my room, grabbing a few


    articles of clothing from the closet. Pulling a pair ofce ck underwear up my legs, I then sp the


    matching bra around my chest. I grumble to myself as I cover my legs with grey acid wash skinny jeans


    with slits in the knees, tossing a loose white tank top over my head.


    When Kai enters the room I''m sitting on the edge of my bed jamming my sock covered feet into a pair


    of ck leatherce up boots. " You know it''s not my choice about not having beloveds lead side by


    side. "


    " Well it''s not like you''ve really done anything about it. " I huff, picking myself off the bed and storming


    into the bathroom, where I pick up my toothbrush and cover the bristles with paste.


    Kai leans against the doorframe watching me. " I''m happy to have you at that meeting Cori, as my


    equal. "


    I don''t respond until I finish brushing my teeth. " And what about leaders are supposed to lead alone? "


    I ask him as I coat myshes in mascara and my lips in balm.


    " That doesn''t apply to us. " He sighs, moving closer to me as I run my fingers through my tangles

    He wraps his arms around me, turning me to him. When my eyes meet his a pang of guilt waves


    through me as I realise I''m being moody with him. " I''m sorry. " I apologise. " I just.. What if your n


    don''t agree with us leading together? "


    " Trust me, I think very few of them will have a problem with having a strong, beautiful and powerful


    hybrid standing beside their leader as his equal. If anyone does.. We''ll deal with that if ites to it. "


    He reassures me, cing a kiss to my forehead. " You ready? "


    I nod, mumbling out a yes as he grabs my hand and begins to lead me through the house until we


    reach the bottom floor, which I''ve never been to before. The room that we enter is a huge beige stone


    room with fluorescent lighting and at least a thousand ck chairs on one end of the room but only one


    sitting by itself on the other.


    The room just looks like a giant underground auditorium.


    Kai leaves me standing alone while he walks over to what looks like a small storage room, seconds


    " Now take your seat my darling. " He tells me, settling into one of the chairs as countless amounts of


    vampires begin filing into the room.
