IT WAS DARK. That''s what all that Alpha Karius could see. It was as if he had been locked inside a
very dark, closed room. He couldn''t see anything even his wolf. He was trained to see in the dark
perfectly but this time, he couldn''t. He''s not sure where he is anymore as he tries to look around.
"Where am I?" He asked himself, trying to figure things out. It doesn''t make sense to him.
He tried running around, hoping that he could find a way out but to his dismay, the darkness had no
end. He''s running without any destination at all but there''s something in this darkness that makes him...
weak. It feels like he''s running out of breath as his heart hammers so fast against his chest.

Alpha Karius refuses to notplete his own thoughts. He long buried those memories in the past. He
will never do it again. He somehow learned to control it so why is he feeling this kind of feeling again? It

A deep chuckle echoed in the darkness that made Alpha Karius shiver. Even though he wanted to just
shrug it off, he knew that just by hearing that voice, he could tell that he''s also dangerous.
"You will never see me. I''m... you."
Alpha Karius'' brows furrowed. "What do you mean?! Don''t fucking y with me!" He wanted to deny
his hunch because the truth is... he couldn''t ept it. He couldn''t ept that the owner of that voice
was able to rule his system again. He couldn''t ept that he let him do what he wants and he''s here...

frustration. Why does he have to experience this kind of situation? It wasn''t his fault that he had to be

And then Alpha Karius suddenly remembered his wolf...
He tried summoning his wolf through the mind link. He knows that he''s still there. He just hopes that he
wille out. He concentrated and tried ignoring the mockingugh of his demon. He called his wolf
for a couple of times until he heard his painful groan. It was as if he''s also having a hard time like he is
now. They are both in aplicated situation now.
"C''mon,e out now..." he whispered again.
And like he was hit by a tornado, he suddenly saw a glimpse of the surroundings again. There''s no
darkness anymore! It was painful for him to summon his wolf because it was as if there''s something
that''s trapping him!
But then, momentster, he was shocked to see himself choking his mate... Lilian to death. He tried
controlling his body and let his wolf rule him even though it was fucking hard for him since his wolf is
also feeling weak now. His demon won''t just get lost! It won''t go away so easily!
"G-Go... while I c-could still s-stop him.." Alpha Karius tried to say despite having a hard time. It was as
if he''s being pulled back to the darkness again.
And then his demon snapped once again and came back. He was pulled back and screamed in so
much frustration because he doesn''t know what''s happening to his mate anymore! What did his demon
do to her?! He swears that he will never forgive himself if something bad happens to Lilian!
''''I love you... Alpha Karius...'''' That''s thest thing that Alpha Karius heard before a lone tear escaped
from his eye.
He wasn''t able to protect her. He saw a glimpse of how she was hurting earlier! And he''s feeling so
useless now... because no matter how many times he tried again, the darkness already sumbed to
him.

"YOU''RE NOT READY to die yet."
Lilian gasped at the sudden voice that she heard from a few distance. She looked around and it seems
like she''s in... paradise. The surrounding was full of flowers, it reminded her of the garden in Alpha
Karius mansion. The fragrance is lingering around, she couldn''t help but to close her eyes to smell it
even more. And it was bright. Everything is alive here that at the back of her mind, she wanted to just
stay here.
But then she looked around to look for the voice that she heard just earlier. The voice was soft and
gentle, it sounded like a luby.
"Who are you?" she asked as she saw a figure of a woman just a few meters away from her. The
woman is surrounded by white light until she suddenly moves closer towards her direction.
"I am Tatianna and I am the Moon Goddess..." The woman whispered as her appearance became clear
to Lilian. She couldn''t help but to gasp when she saw her face.
Tatianna... She''s indeed a goddess. She''s... breathtaking. Beautiful is not an enough word to describe
her appearance but then she''s the most beautiful woman that she everid her eyes on. She''s...
perfect.
She has curly brown hair that suits her paper white skin and is wearing white long dress that ends at
her feet. And she has a flower crown on her head. She''s surrounded by colorful butterflies.
"M-Moon goddess?" Lilian asked as if she''s still processing everything. "Are you... for real?"
Tatianna smiled and nodded at her. "Of course, I am," she answered.
"B-But how... how the hell you''re in front of me now?" As far as Lilian knows, the moon goddess is not
showing herself to the wolves. No one has ever seen her face. And seeing her now felt like a privilege
for Lilian. She''s so lucky to have a glimpse of the moon goddess.
"You''re not bound to see me but... I need to tell you something." Tatianna sighed as she suddenly

doubts about herself right now. But then it warms her heart knowing that the moon goddess herself
trusts her so much.
For the first time, she felt... powerful because the moon goddess is on her side. It felt like everything
was suddenly possible for her.
And then everything suddenly hits her... Alpha Karius... he''s also a demon. That means, she will also
need to... kill him in the end. Can she even do that? The answer is no. She can''t. She loves him and
hurting him now is the veryst of her options.
"I... I can''t do this. My mate is... My mate..." Lilian shook her head, unable to form the right words
anymore.
"You have to. And trust me, after this, you will receive the greatest gift from me..." Tatianna replied with
a smile on her lips again.
Lilian was about to say something but then a loud pump on her chest made her back to reality again.
The light and the paradise is gone...
And the chaotic mansion weed her eyes again but this time... she could feel the oozing power in
her as she slowly stood up from the floor.
