CHAPTER 48: The Trainings With Jackson
THE SCENT OF a rogue from a distance made Alpha Karius and the pack warrior''s rmed. They are
busy guarding the ce, making sure that they wouldn''t miss any rogue or demons. They immediately
went to the direction where it came from and they were led to the house of the head of Omegas,
rine.
"Help! Help! Please, help me!"
Alpha Karius didn''t hesitate to go there and shift to his wolf form. He saw three rogues lingering around
the helpless and crying rine as she crawled back in fear. Her face is full of tears as she sobs while
the rogues start to go in her direction.
Alpha Karius'' wolf jumped in the air, calling the attention of the rogues and started attacking them. His
canines elongated and pierced the skin of the first rogue that went to him that made it groan. He
mercilessly wed its body repeatedly as the other pack warriors also attacked the other rogues. He
also ripped the head of the other rogue that almost wed the other pack warrior until it groaned in so
much pain. His ws and canines could really kill instantly, without giving the victim any chance to
heal. It''s his ability as an Alpha.
The smell of blood lingers in the air as the rogues were thrown on the ground harshly. Momentster,
they were able to kill them all in just a couple of seconds. Most of the work was done by Alpha Karius.
Alpha Karius went to rine who''s already shivering in fear while leaning on the tree. When she saw
him approaching, she immediately calmed down and stopped from crying.
"A-Alpha Karius... thank you so much for saving m-me.." she almost whispered as she was being
assisted by one of the pack warriors and put it on his back, all preparing to leave the ce as soon as
possible.
Since it''s not safe for rine to stay in her house anymore, Alpha Karius decides to take her in his
mansion for the meantime. They reached the ce and hemanded the other pack warriors to go
back to their area where they are guarding since there''s a possibility that there are still rogues lingering
around the pack.
Nadia gave Alpha Karius a nket when he shifted back to his human form. Meanwhile, rine was
escorted by Fina and the other helpers to her room.
"What happened?" Lilian couldn''t help but to ask when she saw what''s happening. She looked at Alpha
Karius as if there''s a big question mark on her face. It was confusing her after seeing the familiar face
of rine full of fear and worry that she didn''t even dare looking at her.
With his tired expression, Alpha Karius went to the confused Lilian and kissed her forehead. "She was
nearly attacked by the rogues. It was a good thing that we''re just near her house since we were able to
smell the rogues'' scent."
Lilian couldn''t help but to gasp in worry for rine. "I-Is she okay? Did something happen to her?"
He shook his head. "There''s none. We''re just on time."
"What about you? Aren''t you hurt?" Lilian asked and suddenly wanted to p herself on her own
questions. But then it came out naturally from her mouth, like she''s really indeed worried about him. He
has traces of blood on his body. She was able to see it before he covered his nakedness with the
nket that Nadia gave him. It was really a good thing that only Nadia is the only female wolf here
since the other helpers assisted rine. Lilian suddenly feels irritated with the thought that someone
might see Alpha Karius'' nakedness. She feels possessive to him all of a sudden and thinks that his
body is for her eyes only.
Lilian shrugged away that thought in her head and just looked at Alpha Karius instead.
Meanwhile, Alpha Karius couldn''t help but to smirk a bit at the genuine worry in Lilian''s eyes. That only
means one thing. She still cares for him. That thought was enough for him to feel special as his heart
hammered so fast against his chest.
"Don''t worry about me, love. I''m fine. And I heal faster than an ordinary wolf..." he assured her. It was
one of his abilities as the highest rank wolf in the pack. His wound heals really fast.
Lilian just nodded and sighed in relief, actually feeling good that Alpha Karius is fine.

"SO, YOU''RE FINALLY decided, huh. What''s with the sudden change of mind?" Jackson asked when
they met each other again near the falls. It became their meeting ce since it''s the best ce that no
wolves would be able to hear their conversation.
Jackson was actually surprised. Lilian kept on ignoring him the past days and he thought it''s time for
him to give up convincing her since it seems like she''s not really interested at all.
"Let''s not talk too much, Jackson. Help me train and... control my ability," she said instead and sighed
deeply.
"Good decision, Lilian but I''m afraid I''m not the real one who could help you in controlling your ability. I
can only help you in your trainings and maybe... let''s do our sparring sessions again?" He shrugged his
shoulders with a smirk on his lips. Honestly, Jackson missed his sparring sessions with Lilian. Lilian is

Jackson looked behind him and as if on a cue, a woman from behind a tree went out. The woman was

Nich, the blind witch. Lilian thought how could she even help her? It''s not that she''s belittling
Nich''s ability but... she''s blind.
"She''s Nich from Ha. She may be blind but she could help in triggering your ability, Lilian."
Lilian''s brows furrowed. "How?"
He smiled. "You will find out as soon as your training starts."
"It''s not like I''ll do something to let out your power, Luna Lilian. It''s still all in your hands..." Nich
suddenly said, making Lilian and Jackson even more confused.
"What do you mean?" Lilian asked.
"Your power will eventuallye out when the right timees. Let''s not rush things. All you need to
do is to be ready for what will happen next because she''s already starting," Nich said meaningfully.
"I saw something... about two women in Alpha Karius'' life but it was all clear to me now."
Lilian slowly shook her head. "I''m still confused..."
"I have no time exining things to you, but the first woman that will cause darkness in this world is
none other than... Gianna."
Lilian''s eyes widened in shock. That name... that familiar name! It makes her suddenly angry at the
mere mention of that woman''s name again. How could she even forget the name of the woman who
caused her so much pain and humiliation before?! She will never forget her! The urge of hurting her like
how she did to her before suddenly came to her mind. And for some reasons, it gives so much
satisfaction.
Her lips pursed in madness as her hand balled into fist while the face of that woman registered in her
mind again. She breathed heavily as if she went to a long race. The fast beating of her heart is one of
the indications that she''s so angry with that woman named Gianna.
Meanwhile, Nich couldn''t help but to smirk when she felt the sudden rage on Lilian. Her rage was
mixed with something powerful and the desire to kill Gianna.
"Yeah... that''s it. You should be mad at her. Rage is one of the things that could unleash your power as
the chosen one. The moon goddess was never wrong for choosing you, Luna Lilian..." Nich said as
Jackson was also in awe feeling Lilian''s rage.

LILIAN''S TRAININGS went on for days. She will meet Jackson everyday to train. She would bring
some extra clothes since there''s a time that she''s needed to shift in her wolf form for her training.
"Woah. I still can''t get over the fact that your wolf is that big now," Jackson said as they both went back
to the vige after their tiring training. Lilian already changed her clothes while Jackson is still topless.
She just rolled her eyes at him and shook her head a bit. "What time is it already?" she asked him.
Jackson looked at his wristwatch but then he chuckled. "Oh, it''s almost six in the evening."
Lilian just nodded. At this time, Alpha Karius is still not in his mansion since he''s busy with his Alpha
duties, so it''s fine with her if she''s going back a bitte.
Meanwhile, what Lilian didn''t really know is the fact that Alpha Karius went home early this time since
he misses her so much. He''s aching to see and hug her already. Hees homete because of his
work and Lilian is already sleeping at that time, he doesn''t have the heart to wake her up.
Alpha Karius decided to go to the vige where Lilian used to go the past few days. She''s really getting

thanks to the wolf when he saw two figures getting out of the woods, smiling at each other as if they
had their own world.
It was Lilian with a man named Jackson. From what Alpha Karius remembers, Lilian was wearing a
white dress this morning but now, she''s wearing a green one that''s slightly wet from her own sweat.
Meanwhile, Jackson is topless, his own body is also glistening with his sweat.
