    CHAPTER 38: The Taste of Her Revenge


    AS SOON AS LILIAN opened her eyes, the smell of an English breakfast attacked her nostrils. She


    looked at the surroundings and realized that she''s not in her usual room. All the things inside the room


    where she''s in screams masculinity. The walls and things are painted mostly brown, white and ck.


    And then she realized that she''s in Alpha Karius'' room. Yeah, she slept inside his room after what they


    didst night.


    "Hey."


    She looked up at Alpha Karius who''s holding a tray and put it on a side table. Her brows furrowed. She


    suddenly salivate at the sight of fried eggs, sausages, ck bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms and fried


    bread on the te. There''s also orange juice at the other side of the tray. It suddenly made her


    stomach grumble making him chuckle a bit. Alpha Karius thought that Lilian was so adorable.


    "Good morning, Ma''am." He greeted her. Alpha Karius smirked when he saw how pretty she was in the


    morning. Her hair is disheveled a bit and her chinky eyes and natural red lips make him suddenly hard.


    She''s still naked and just making theforter wrapped on her body to cover her tender bosoms.


    Alpha Karius clenched his jaw when he saw some red marks around her neck down to her cleavage.


    She looks wearing his marks. Since she''s an Omega, the mark is really slow to heal. She''s effortlessly

    "Whatever." She cleared her throat and the best that she could do right now is to act like she''s mad or


    something since his body is also distracting her. He''s topless and only wearing his sweatpants. She

    cracks on his stomach suddenly made her think that it''s better to lick that than to eat the English


    breakfast in front of her!


    Oh, goodness! She must be insane for thinking that way! Instead of showing that she''s a bit affected by


    his body, she still acted normal in front of him.


    He just smiled at her. "You can eat your breakfast now to regain your energy. Sorry, I was too roughst


    night," he said as he ced the tray in front of her and his other hand went to her hair and fixed it for


    her to eat properly.


    Lilian gulped at his sudden move. The way his calloused palm went to the side of her neck to fix her


    hair made her think what they didst night, on how he gripped her hair harshly and pulled her both


    hands to her back while thrusting hard and fast behind her-- shit! Her mind is really corrupted when it

    But what Lilian didn''t know is that her sarcastic tone is just turning Alpha Karius even more. He likes


    her this way. The way she rolled her eyes or arched her brow at him is just making him take her again.

    "Well... I don''t need your worry. I can handle myself," she told him as she started eating her breakfast.


    She really felt tired from what they didst night. She could still feel how her toes trembled multiple

    suddenly made her blush but she tried to conceal it by focusing on eating the food in front of her.


    "You... already gave me your mark," he suddenly said, making Lilian stop from eating.


    She looked at him seriously this time and put down the spoon and fork. "So what? You don''t like it?"


    She tried sounding like it''s not a big deal at all. Well, it''s part of her n. To make him follow what she


    wants like a damn good boy for her revenge.


    "It''s not that. I... uh, I wasn''t able to say this to you but it''s the right thing to do since we''re mates. And


    aside from that, this is for your safety, too."


    Her brows furrowed. "For my safety? I don''t think it will do any harm to myself if I don''t give my mark


    yet."


    He seriously shook his head. "I talked to Penny. She said that if you wouldn''t be able to give your mark


    to me, your body will deteriorate."


    She chuckled without any hint of humor in her tone. "I don''t believe you," she said even though she''s

    early to personally cook her breakfast to make an effort.


    He didn''t disturb her anymore as she ate her breakfast. Momentster, she''s done and drinks the juice


    on the side. He got the tray and put it on the side table.


    "What are your ns for today?" He asked all of a sudden.


    "I don''t know. I don''t have the mood to roam around the pack for today," she answered. Yeah, she


    doesn''t have the mood and aside from that, she''s still tired fromst night. Her femininity is still aching

    "Hmm. Okay. I''ll stay here with you then." He shrugged his shoulders a bit.


    "What? Don''t you have work? Alpha duties?" Her brows furrowed. She doesn''t want him around her.


    Her thoughts are just filled with some worldly things when she sees her. Yeah, she''s that affected to


    him now, but there''s no way in hell that she''s going to tell it to him.


    "I have but my Luna is more important. I know you''re still tired. I''ll dly assist you in everything that


    you want to do for today."


    She rolled her eyes again. "No need. Just go."


    "I don''t wanna. I''ll stay so you could spare the helpers from your bitchiness." He chuckled lightly as if


    what he said wasn''t a big deal to Lilian.


    She red at him, but Alpha Karius is actually enjoying the sudden change of her expression.


    "What did you say?!" Bitchiness? How dare he say that to her! Well, yes, she''s really a bitch sometimes


    but she couldn''t ept that he''s the one telling it to her.


    "Yeah. I know you''ve been really giving them a hard time but that''s fine. They''ve been really patient


    with you, especially Nadia..."


    She crossed her arms. She suddenly has the hunch that maybe Nadia was the one who told him what


    she''s doing to them when he''s not around. "I will show them my bitchy side if they keep on talking


    behind my back. And that Nadia did something wrong to me. They all deserved it."


    "I know. But instead of giving them a hard time, pour all your wrath to me instead. I''d dly embrace


    it..." His voice suddenly became husky as he looked into her eyes.


    Lilian smirked. "Wait for it, then. I will destroy you until you won''t be able to rise up anymore." It was a


    threat. Now that she got the upper hand, she''s sure that she could control him and that makes the


    possibility that he won''t be able to hurt her anymore. But that doesn''t mean that she will let her guard


    down.


    "I''ll wait for it. You can destroy me as you please until I make up with all that I did in the... past."


    She became serious this time. The mention of the past is just bringing back all her ugly and painful


    memories that she wanted to forget. She wasn''t able to talk after that. She just watched him in the eyes


    without any hint of emotion written on her face.


    "I''m allowing you to take your revenge on me, love... hurt me if you want," he whispered as the


    memories of their dead child crossed his mind. It was all his fault. It was his fault why their little angel


    wasn''t able to live. It was his fault why Lilian had gone through so much pain. And if Lilian will really


    take revenge on him, he wouldn''t mind. That''s what he deserves for making the wrong decisions


    before... when he chose to hurt her without knowing that she''s already carrying their child at that time.


    "Then, brace yourself. You will taste my sweetest revenge soon," she said seriously as she suddenly


    stood up naked, not minding him watching her moves and wore her robest night before she stormed


    out of his room without ncing back at him.
