CHAPTER 14: The Unexpected Question
THE NEXT MORNING, Lilian''s brows furrowed as soon as she opened her eyes. The whole
surrounding was so new to her. It was all... new and peaceful.
That''s when she finally realized that she''s not in her old house anymore.
The bed is toofortable for her. She could smell the faint smell of the fragrant flower at the veranda
making her smile a bit. It was a nice morning because her body is fine now, it wasn''t aching anymore.
She can now move freely without flinching, it must be because her wounds are all healed now.
Lilian got up from the bed the moment she heard a knock outside the room. Quickly, she opened it and
saw Maya, one of the helpers in the old mansion with another two women. They are all smiling at her.
"Good morning, Miss Lilian!" They greeted each other in unison , making Lilian flinch a bit. They
giggled at her reaction.
"G-Good morning, too."
"We''re here to assist you in fixing yourself. Our Alpha said that she will tour you aroundter," said
Maya as the four of them came in.
Lilian''s brows furrowed. "There''s no need. I can manage." She chuckled awkwardly. She''s not really
used to someone helping her. She''s used to doing all the things on her own.
"We know but we wanted to assist you. I''m Liza by the way," said one who''s thinner than Maya.
"And I''m Kathryn. We''re the helpers in the mansion. We''re all omegas."
That made Lilian gasp a bit. So, they are all omega, huh. But it seems like everyone is really getting
along here. Even though the three women in front of her are omegas, Lilian could see that they are
really happy.
Maya smiled at Lilian''s reaction. "Yeah. Maybe we''re all omegas but we''re treated nicely. Alpha Calista
doesn''t really want us to help in her mansion but we insisted. This is the least thing that we could do for
her after she helped us."
Liza and Kathryn also nodded in agreement.
"That''s right, Miss Lilian. Alpha Calista is the nicest and the best Alpha of all!" Kathryn agreed. "Come
on, we should bathe you now!"
Lilian''s eyes widened a bit. Bath? Are they going to bathe her?! Like... they''re going to see her most
private area and all?! She gasped at that idea inside her head.
Her question was answered when Maya and Liza pushed her towards the bathroom. Kathryn was also
pushing her from behind so even though she tried to get off from their holds, she couldn''t. Lilian had no
other choice but to let them do what they wanted.
Maya, Kathryn and Liza literally saw everything from her as they soap her. They even removed the
hairs on her pubic area! It was embarrassing as hell but they didn''t seem to mind it. They were just
doing their work even though Lilian was already blushing hard.
"Wow, Miss Lilian! You literally have the sexiest body! You have a big breast and booty!" Liza
said. She was flustered the whole time they were bathing her.
After an hour and thirty minutes, they were done bathing her. They made her wear a white simple puff
sleeve dress and let her hair down. They applied light makeup that emphasized her features. She
nearly didn''t recognize herself when she looked at her own reflection in the mirror. Maya, Liza and
Kathryn did well in fixing her overall appearance right now. She rarely tries dressing up before so she
can''t help but to alsopliment herself in her mind.
"Wow! You''re indeed pretty, Miss Lilian!" Mayamented when they''re done dressing her up.
"Thank you," Lilian replied shyly.
"Okay! Time to go out now. Alpha Calista is now waiting for you," Kathryn said as they pulled her
outside the room that she had been upying since yesterday.

CALISTA DID REALLY tour Lilian around the whole Midnight Pack. It was pretty wider than she
thought. They even have a training ground where the wolves used to train every morning. It was
mandatory to join the training as long as the wolves were of legal age. They also have a small school in
which they teach children the basic lessons that they need to learn. They also have a couple of witches
with them to heal the wolves in case they''re injured.
"The training ground is open for everyone. It was mandatory for wolves who reached the legal age to
train here for their sake. We were sometimes attacked by rogues here but thankfully, we managed to
fight back because the majority of the wolves here are trained physically," Calista said as they both
gaze at the open field where some wolves are training seriously. "What do you think about it?"

"I honestly like it," Lilian answered as her gaze went to the two wolves at the side who were obviously
flirting. The man helped the woman to target the bullseye. They''re learning archery, almost hugging
each other.
Lilian''s brows furrowed a bit remembering someone at that gesture of the two wolves. Well, she
shouldn''t remember that very same man who hurted her. It''s just ruining her mood.
"I know what happened to you in your previous pack. They humiliated and punished you for something
you didn''t do, right?" Calista suddenly said that Lilian also looked at her. How did she know about it?
Lilian is not sure anymore. "I know everything that''s happening inside that pack. I''ve been observing it
for a very long time..."
"Why?" Lilian couldn''t help but to ask. Why is Calista even observing the Moon Stone Pack?
"Because I don''t really like their system ever since the former Alpha was still the one who''s leading the
pack. And aside from that... I.. I am looking for my d-daughter..." Calista looked down as she mentioned
thest word. She smiled, a sad one. "I have a daughter and I was away from her for a very long time.
And ording to some witches I consulted before, my daughter is in the Moon Stone Pack. It was
really hard for me to find her because she''s protected by one of the most powerful packs and no one
couldn''t really invade their turf that easily."
Lilian reached out for Calista''s hand and held it as if it was her way tofort her. "I hope you can find
your daughter soon..."
Calista just nodded her head before looking at the wolves training again. They both fell into deep
silence as they observed everyone. Until Calista decided to break it...
"Lilian... did it evere to your mind to... take revenge on your previous pack? To those wolves who
hurted you?"
She gasped, not really expecting Calista''s question. But then she slowly nodded without any hint of
emotion in her face.
"Yes. And I intend to make them all suffer in my hands... especially that very same man who hurted me
the most."
