09. The She-Wolf Alpha
CHAPTER 09: The She-Wolf Alpha
IT WAS A BIG chaos. Panic and worry is now written on the eyes of the wolves of the whole Moon
Stone Pack. Not to mention that their Alpha is also missing in action. No one knows where he is right
now in the midst of this chaos.
Suddenly, there was a big explosion at the side, just near Lilian''s cage. It rmed her seeing the
wolves jumped because of the impact of the explosion. It pains her when she sees a pup running away
for her life because of the fire that started. Few more minutes, if Lilian wouldn''t be able to get out of the
cage, fire would consume her too.
"H-Help!" Lilian shouted in fear as she nced at the chaotic wolves. They already forgot about her
inside the cage! They are all busy saving their own lives. Some are already running away, and some
are fighting the intruders who just suddenly came.
Her nce went to Luna Gianna as Mason and the other wolves were busy protecting her. They now
shifted on their wolf forms and are now attacking the intruders. Mason ripped the head of the brown
wolf that jumped to attack Luna Gianna. Blood gushed out on the ground as the groan of the wolf
echoed in the whole surrounding. Mason was ruthless, like no one would be able to stop him from
protecting Luna.
Lilian''s brows furrowed in confusion despite the worries in her eyes. Who are these wolves? She
couldn''t help but to think about it. Everyone knows that the Moon Stone Pack is not just an ordinary
pack, it has a strong force. And aside from that, Alpha Karius is also one of the most dangerous Alpha
ording to some witches before. But where is he now? Why is he letting his pack be attacked by
these wolves?
"You piece of shit of a wolf!" Lilian heard Luna Gianna cursed as she kicked on one of the Moon Stone
Pack wolves and used him to protect herself by the sudden attack on the intruder. Mason and the other
wolves are now busy fighting the intruders so they aren''t able to protect Luna Gianna anymore.
Lilian''s eyes widened in shock when she saw that the head of the wolf had been ripped because of
what Luna Gianna did. How could she do that?! Luna Gianna just sacrificed a wolf from the Moon
Stone Pack for her own damn protection! Without any hint of remorse written on her face! Without
blinking! It made Lilian think that Luna Gianna could easily kill someone if she wanted to. How the hell
could she do that to that poor wolf. Lilian''s anger towards her just heightened even more. It also made
her think that she didn''t deserve to be called as the Luna of the pack if she''s this way.
"Fucking protect the Luna!" Someone shouted to the whole pack, and they obliged. There''s a circle of
wolves that surrounds Luna while the chaos is still going on. Everyone is willing to sacrifice their lives
for her, but Luna Gianna, for sure, doesn''t even feel the same. What happened a while ago is a big
proof that she can easily sacrifice one of the pack for her own sake.
Luna Gianna remained stiff, as if she was too afraid to lose her own poise on the sudden war between
the intruders and Moon Stone Pack. She even fixed her hair that suddenly blocked her face.
Instead of paying too much attention to Luna, Lilian tried to find a way to get out of the cage even
though she felt weak because of the fire that''s getting nearer in her direction. Since everyone is too
busy to even notice her, she was able to form into her wolf form. Her wolf is in its gray color, smaller
"Ugh..." She groaned before using thest bit of her strength to destroy the cage. She repeatedly hit
the cage using her wolf''s head until it was able to crack it open.
Hope surged in her system when she saw that the cage had been destroyed already. Without further
ado, she prepared herself from escaping. Momentster, she ran away from the chaotic wolves without
anyone noticing her.

"THE WHOLE MOON Stone Pack is in chaos! Aren''t we going to do something?" Calyx asked Alpha
Karius as he puffed his own cigarette looking at the nice view in front of them.
They are both staying inside Alpha Karius'' secret house just near his mansion where the chaos is
going on. Remembering about it, he clenched his fist thinking that it was all because of Gianna
Dorington, the daughter of the Alpha from the other pack whom he trusted the most. But his trust
towards that pack is now tainted. Gianna is getting out of hand. She had been creating a mess in his
own packtely. He thought she would be a great help to him and to the whole pack, but he was wrong.
Now, he''s thinking how he would even remove her from his own pack.
Even though his pack is considered as one of the strongest packs, a witch once told Alpha Karius that
his pack will soon be attacked and dominated by the rogues. Rogues will eat all the wolves alive and as
the Alpha of the pack, he should make a move to stop it. It''s better to prevent it while it is still early.
And the best thing that he thought was to merge with another pack in exchange for the whole Moon
Stone Pack''s safety. But what he didn''t see toe was the... marriage. The daughter of another pack
wanted Alpha Karius'' hand in exchange for merging with the Moon Stone Pack, to strengthen their
bond as two packs.
Alpha Karius endured it all even though he was really hurting since he had to cut ties with his secret
girlfriend, Lilian. It hurts him the moment he sees the tears in her eyes. But he had to... for the sake of
the whole pack.
He has been staying in his secret house for days now, not wanting to see Gianna''s face. It irritates him
how she maniptes the wolves in his pack but they are doing him a favor. So, he had to keep up with
all her antics. Not when he''s still thinking of another way to stop the rogues from attacking his pack in
the near future.
He sighed. "Let''s go, then," Alpha Karius said to Calyx before dropping his cigarette on the floor and
stepping on it. Well, it''s still his mission to protect his own pack so even though he doesn''t really have
the energy to see Gianna again, he decided to go to his mansion where the war is going on.
Calyx nodded and then momentster, they went out of his house and shifted on their wolf forms.
Alpha Karius'' wolf is in its ck color,rger than an ordinary wolf with golden eyes. It looked
magnificent as they started to run towards the forest, on their way to the mansion where the chaos is
still going on.

TIRED AND WEAK, Lilian keeps on running away, afraid that someone will see her. She doesn''t
actually know where to go. She only wants to get away from that ce. It''s not safe for her anymore.
Lilian''s wolf has been protesting in her head for them to stop for a while but she didn''t listen. She kept
on running and running until she stopped in front of a waterfall. She was breathing heavily when she
decided to drink water from it. Her throat is really getting dry ever since earlier.
She quench her thirst until her heart''s content. And because she was too weak already, she shifted
back to her human form again, not minding if she''s naked and someone might see her.
And as she stared at her reflection on the water, Lilian couldn''t help but to chuckled bitterly while her
tears were streaming down her face again. She can''t help but to pity herself. How pathetic that she had
she''s not sure anymore if she''s still included on that same pack, who maltreated her and gave her pain.
Her face is full of bruises and wounds, she can''t be recognized anymore. Shaking her head, Lilian
washed her face as if the water would be able to take away the bruises and wounds on her skin. Even
her naked body is full of wounds and dirt. Her wounds from the rough ground earlier because of being
pulled harshly by the horse are now healing. It wasn''t that painful anymore.
"They hurt you so bad, huh..."
Lilian straightened her back when she heard a voice behind her. She didn''t see thating! She didn''t
let her guard down as she slowly faced someone who spoke, and just what she thought, it was a
woman, based on her voice.
The woman has naturally curly hair and a voluptuous body. She''s wearing a white dress that ends up
on her toes. But what caught Lilian''s attention was the crown on her head made of rare flowers. It was
shining even though it wasn''t reflected by the light.

"W-Who are you?" Lilian asked with her trembling voice but she remained stoic, not wanting to show
any fear from her expression.
The woman smiled. "I''m Calista. The she-wolf Alpha from the Midnight Pack. Do you want to be with us
and escape from your current pack? I promise you, I will take care of you..." she said with a gentle
smile on her lips.
Lilian gulped. She thought a bit but then, she found herself nodding and epting what Calista just
said.
Well... she doesn''t like to stay in the same pack who hurted her anymore. She wanted to get away from
all of them.
