    Lilian almost jumped from where she was standing when she heard the voice of a higher rank wolf. It


    was Mason, the scariest Beta thatmands every Omega in the pack.


    Being an Omega was never easy. It was actually exhausting. The Omegas are like the ve of the


    pack that do all the dirty works. Lilian wanted to protest but she knew that it won''t do her any good. She


    will just get punished in return and that''s the least thing that she wants to happen right now.


    She''s pregnant and she needs to take care of herself. A baby is depending on her so she must avoid


    being in trouble in order to be safe.


    Lilian cleared her throat as her own sweat glided down from her forehead to her cheek. Her gaze went


    to the innocentdy who looked really tired now. Thedy was already pale. Lilian balled her fist and


    stopped herself from helping her. If she''s in a different situation right now, she won''t just stand there


    and watch the poordy almost die in tiredness. She wouldn''t mind getting a punishment just to save


    thedy.


    "I... I was just resting a bit--"


    "Did I order you to rest?!" Mason shouted at the poordy. The other Omegas are now looking at them.


    They are busy cleaning the muddy and stinky tunnel near the boundary of Seleniya. It was actually


    gross but they had no other choice but to follow themand of a higher rank wolf. Anyone who will


    disobey the order of a higher rank wolf will be whipped multiple times. They will not show any mercy to


    an Omega.


    "I-I''m so sorry! Please, spare me!" The poordy bowed her head and suddenly went down on her


    knees and started begging. Everyone gasps on the next thing that Mason did.


    He whipped thedy with the rope he''s holding without even blinking. The poordy just cried in return.


    No one dared to stop Mason. No one dared to make even a sound and watched him hurt thedy. It


    was really unfair on their part as the Omega. They are constantly being mistreated by the other wolves.


    Lilian really wanted to end it with the help of Alpha Karius.


    Lilian shut her eyes tightly. They are really too much. She wanted to inform Alpha Karius but she


    doesn''t want to give him another headache right now. He has too much on his te and Lilian doesn''t


    want to bother him at this moment.


    ANOTHER WEEK had passed and Lilian''s situation became worse. She became more sensitive with


    her surroundings and her sense of smell didn''t really help. Whenever she smells something weird, she


    would quickly throw up due to her pregnancy.


    Lilian nced at herself inside the bathroom of her small house. She looked really weak and pale right


    now. Aside from the fact that she was so tired from yesterday because of being ordered around by the


    higher rank wolves, she''s also stressed out. She had been thinking of a way tomunicate with


    Alpha Karius and even tried sneaking in in his mansion but she always failed miserably.


    The security inside the Alpha''s mansion became tighter. The number of wolves at the front and the


    back of his house was doubled because of the attack of the rogue pack from the north. They''re


    securing his safety so it was really hard for Lilian to inform Alpha Karius about her situation.


    Lilian fixed herself and went out of her small house. She''s living alone and has no parents already.


    She''s fine being alone though.


    She went to their usual meeting ce, the tree house located in the forest of Seleniya. It was Lilian''s


    fourth time toe at that ce hoping that Alpha Karius would suddenly appear. She needed to tell


    him about her pregnancy because the truth is, she''s really scared. She had no idea on how to be a


    good mother and she can''t really do this alone. Lilian needs support from the father of her child. She


    needs Alpha Karius beside her.


    Lilian knew that the baby justplicate their situation, given the fact that their rtionship is just a


    secret. But she''s willing to continue her pregnancy and keep the baby. She''s just waiting for Alpha


    Karius'' side on this very important matter. But it''s pretty hard to get a hold on his whereabouts these


    days. It seems like the pack is at stake right now.


    "Maybe he will note again," Lilian whispered to herself when she noticed that it''s been a couple of


    hours and yet there''s still no trace of Alpha Karius in their meeting ce. She sighed and decided to go


    back again like she usually does the past few days.


    When Lilian was already near her small house, she heard two Omegas talking. Her brows furrowed on


    what she heard.


    "It''s true! There''s a rumor that the Alpha is going to tie the knot with a higher rank wolf from another


    pack!"


    "Hey, like what you said, it''s just a rumor. We all know that a wolf should only end up with his or her


    mate. What tie the knot are you talking about anyway?"


    "Believe me, Anna! The Alpha is doing it to secure and strengthen the security of the whole Moon


    Stone Pack! If he''s going to merge our pack to another powerful pack, then there will be no rogue


    lingering in the whole Seleniya! We will all be safe!"


    Lilian couldn''t move from what she heard. Is that even true? Is Alpha Karius going to marry a woman


    from another pack?
