    One-Hundred Forty-Eight: Honeymoon Part 2

    Dinnerst night went well, and the Alpha Demeter and Luna Serryna were so nice. The whole pack


    was very nice and weing. He had exined that their pack was part of the girl''s original pack.


    They are the only other family that escaped the Navarros back then. That was a shock to find out. They


    told us that any part of the pack is wee in their territory anytime. Dustin told them the same thing.


    We are currently lying on the beach. The private beach that belongs to the house. Dustin is out in the


    water while I am lying on a towel, working on my tan. I don’t want to say anything, but I have felt like


    someone is watching me for thest three days. I haven’t noticed anyone, but the feeling is there.


    “You look worried,” Dustin says.


    “I am not worried, just missing my babies,” I tell him.


    This is true. I miss my babies a lot. I have never been away from them this long. I know they are


    perfectly safe and well taken care of. I am sure dad is there spoiling the hell out of them. I get that


    feeling again. I know I need to say something to someone, but I don’t want Dustin worried. Especially


    on our honeymoon.


    We get back to the house, and Dustin heads to the kitchen to cook. I decide to go sit out back by the

    I don’t want Dustin to see me text them this shit, so I opted for a private conversation in our minds. I still


    find it amazing I am able to do this. Dustin tells me that dinner is ready, and I walk into the house. I am


    not letting anyone ruin my honeymoon. This is our special time, so everyone can just fuck off.

    I could tell something was bothering Myka thest two or three days. I know she misses the kids, but


    I also know that that is not the entire reason. I am not sure what is happening, but something is up. I


    text Kaleb and let him know what''s up. He said he talked to Kni, but he said that she hadn’t heard a


    thing. I know he looked at her phone and said there was no new text from Myka. That means they


    are talking via their minds. I will deal with it when we get back. This is our honeymoon, and it needs to


    be perfect for her. Besides, we only have two more days before we have to head home. Thesest two


    days are going to be perfect for her because she deserves nothing less. When we got home, she had


    better tell me what was going on.

    When Myka popped into our heads we knew something was up. She would only talk to us like that if


    it were important. I was irritated when she said she felt like she was being watched. They are on their


    honeymoon. Who would want to bother them? I knew it couldn’t be Darrius or Thomas. We sent stuff of


    theirs to Demeter so he would know what they smelt like. We told him that Dustin and Myka would


    be there on their honeymoon and to leave them alone. I exined that they were a family and told him


    all about Myka. He understood and said they would be treated like family, and the pack would leave


    them alone. I was not surprised when he invited them for dinner. As soon as Myka told us this, we


    sent Bryn to see what she could find.


    “It wasn’t Darrius or Thomas,” Bryn tells us.


    “Then who was it.?” I ask


    “I think it was one of Asmodays goons. I caught the scent of a demon.” She exins.


    “That fucking bastard.” Kni growls.


    If he even thinks about touching her, it will end badly for him. Let’s be real; it will end badly for him


    anyway. Now we have a new area that he might be in. That guy has some balls. That is our home turf.


    Sending one of his goons onto our home turf is ballsy.


    “Do we have anything that smells like Asmoday or Vepar?” I ask.


    “Actually we do. One of the animals came back with a shit ton of clothes from one of the destroyed


    locations. Most of the clothes were Vepars but a few were Asmodays.” Kni answers.


    We send them to Demeter with a note telling him what this is about. He replies that he will get his best


    trackers on them immediately. Ok, checkmate, you fucking asshole.

    I know those three are up to something. They have been way too calmtely. I could tell the other day


    when I walked into the kitchen that they were having a conversation with someone in their minds. I


    casually mentioned something to Christer, and he had no idea. I bet anything it was Myka. That


    means something is going on over there. I know Dustin told Kaleb the other night that everything has


    been good and nothing bad has happened. Which means Dustin doesn’t know. They are due toe


    home tomorrow. I know they sent something to Demeter, but I didn’t see what it was. These three know


    something that they are not telling us.
