    “Thank you, Cole,” I managed to say as I felt chills run down my spine. It wasn’t the good chills. Had

    “It should be natural for Cisco. He shouldn’t be able to see through our act” I added, inwardly


    laughing at myself. This was such a lowly thing to do yet I had to because my mate, Cisco’s father


    had his family to worry about and I doubted he could make it.

    “Thanks and I’m sorry I am acting paranoid” I sighed, running a hand through my hair. This was a


    difficult choice to make and the fact that I was feeling bad about it made it ten times worse so much

    crush. Cole is a handsome and very likable person so it’s not surprising if she feels that

    I shook my head to get rid of the thought of them together. There was something else weighing on

    “If he hasn’t returned your calls then I don’t think he’d have any idea about it,” Cole shrugged.


    “No, he will,” I said quickly and even if he had questions as to how I was sure, he didn’t inquire, he


    only nodded thoughtfully and I was grateful for that.


    “Even if hees around, everything will be fine, Freda. You need to stop worrying so much. We


    ought to be in our very best mood for Cisco’s sake, we’ll worry about other things when the time


    twirls in my head.

    I plopped on the bed wearily, hating the fact that her words did


    make sense. I had to prepare for the worst because, with Kaiden’s untamed temper, anything could
