Chapter 161
Daisy knew all of these warriors and there was no new one among them. She had even trained some of them.
The oldest among them was around twenty, as the rest of the young warriors had all found their mates, and the rest were underage.
There was a total of forty of them, and Daisy went staring into each of their eyes, each hoping to feel a bond but ending up disappointed.
Though she feared finding her mate, she was even more afraid when none of them felt a bond, just like her.
“It’s none of them,” Daisy said.
Alpha Nick and Luna Sheridan’s hearts sank, but looking at how gloomy Daisy was, Sheridan consoled her. “Don’t worry. You will find your mate. I believe so.”
The party ended, and everyone left, including Daisy’s seven cousins. ke and ir were thest to leave, and ir said to her,
“Remember the mysterious man you told me about? He might be an Alpha in one of the packs. Why don’t you check the pack’s records of all new Alphas? I would be ready to help you with anything.”
Hope returned to Daisy’s eyes as she had no idea where to begin her search but asked, “How did you know he would be an Alpha, not a beta or warrior?”
ir smiled profoundly. Every teenager dreamed of having an Alpha or beta as a mate, and she wasn’t an exception.
“The moon goddess can never pair someone like you with any man less than an Alpha.”
A smile stretched Daisy’s lips, but it did not reach her eyes. How could she me ir for being so narrow–minded? The girl was just fourteen.
Though smart, she still needed time to understand the things of love. “Sorry to disappoint you, but I don’t mind if my mate is just amon warrior. He just has to be an Alpha at heart, and I would make him one.”
Daisy would readily give her title to that mysterious man if he was a mere warrior and be his Luna.
ir could never say anymore, hoping it wasn’t so because warriors across the packs were so many. How would Daisy be able to find her mate if he was just a warrior?
“I understand, but if you don’t find him among Alphas, you can search betas before warriors.”
As ir thought about the suggestion she herself was giving, she found it too tiring to bear, and wished Daisy could just randomly choose anyone she liked.
“I will do as you have said,” Daisy obliged, as she led ir to her car where the driver already opened the door for her.
Daisy would rather begin her search from somewhere, or not start at all.
Normal activities resumed in the Dark Moon pack the next day. Not a word about Daisy’s birthday went out, and the other packs had no idea she even existed, except her cousins.
“Eva, your defense is weak. An enemy can kill you,” Daisy addressed one of the new trainees.
“Lister, how can you even attack like that? Even the weakest person in defense can survive,” she said to another.
Daisy was leading training as usual with Niel’s support. He would soon take over from his father, Dustin, as the Beta, and

Daisy would be his Alpha, except Daisy got mated to someone outside the pack who was not an Alpha.
Then, he would be the Alpha of the Dark Moon Pack. But this was not her parents‘ greatest fear. The fear of her falling in love with an Alpha from another pack would mean that Daisy would no longer be theirs.
She would now be the Luna of that pack.
“Daisy, what do I do? He counters my defenses too fast,” Evained.
Daisy, though on the line of bing the Alpha, has always insisted on being addressed by her first name and nothing more. Even with that, the pack was forbidden from mentioning her name to other packs.
Even Daisy did not want to be known, as the ident from ten years ago lingered on her mind. She almost died if that man had not saved her.
Some Packs that did not have a river orke still built pools or even used temporary ones for parties.
As such, the external packs only knew about the strength of the beta, thinking he would be the one to take over the pack.
“Everybody stop,” Daisy said as she said to Niel, “I want you to personally help her with the basic defense.”
Alpha Nick and Luna Sheridan had been so proud of their daughter that they usually left training in her hands.
“You can ask some of the lead warriors to help you as I would be sending more of such as her.”
“Yes, Daisy,” Niel agreed with a smile.
By the time training was over, Daisy said to him, “Please help me with something. I need the record of all the new Alphas from ten years ago.
The man was much older than her, like the warriors who turned eighteen at the time she was eight. Daisy was certain that the man would be at least six to fifteen years older than her.
“I will inform you when it’s ready.”
She mind–linked the warriors. ‘Tomorrow is wolf training, so everyone should be ready. I just got mine, so Alpha Nick will be there. If you don’t have your wolf, you will train with Nick.‘
She went around to check on a few aged in the pack as she always did, ensuring they were well taken care of before she retired to have a shower and lunch.
By the time she came out of the shower, news was waiting for her. ‘Daisy, only two Alphas were coronated during this period. The packs are yet to host more as some of the Alpha’s sons are still underage,’ Niel reported through mind–link.
‘I’ming over,‘ Daisy responded via the same channel before rushing to the office and picking the first file, she instantly felt goosebumps on her delicate skin.
