    Savannah''s POV


    "7 years?" I gasped. It has been so many years yet Dney''s infatuation is still so active. Now this


    matter does seem like caused by mere infatuation yet there''s more like an obsessed feeling. Since


    Hardwick rejected her, it made her heart and soul more determined to have him at any cost. She even


    gave up all her shame and fear to conclude her action to the finest point. This kind of person is


    dangerous in every way.


    "Where are you lost?" I felt myself being tugged and then pressed against a hard chest. I looked up to


    find him staring at me.


    "Nothing, I am just too curious about your story"


    "Don''t think about it too much. The past is passed and there''s nothing between me and Dney" at the

    He looked at me closely, staring into my eyes like he was trying to read the unspoken words "you

    I smiled brightly at him "then it''s settled. Everything is solved"


    He raised his eyebrows "who said everything is solved?"


    "Huh? What?" I frowned.


    "There''s still something that is yet to be solved"

    Before I knew it he pushed me down on the bed making me lie t on my back and he hovered over


    me. His eyes were shining with evil glint.


    "What are you doing?" I looked at him with wide eyes.


    "You left me there in the pack. How could you leave?"


    "That...." Suddenly I felt guilty "I...."


    "You what?"


    "I didn''t leave. I just came here to attend my brother''s crowning ceremony"


    "Oh, so you can go without informing me?" He questioned.


    "Did you pick up my call?" I gave him a mocking smile.


    "Fuck" he cursed then joined his forehead with mine "I was scared to death"


    "Why?"


    "After returning I found something missing. Then Dney appeared out of nowhere and then I couldn''t


    find you. So I thought you left me because of my past"


    I smiled as I saw his scared expression "you know that''s not true right?"


    I never thought that the Alpha who never showed any nervousness nor weakness. Who handled his


    pack and brought it to a high position will be scared by his past. He was scared to lose me and he


    thought that I would leave him after learning about his past?


    "That''s why you were so reluctant to tell me about your past?"


    He nodded "I knew that I was doing wrong. I should have told you about it earlier but I thought you will


    misunderstand everything I want to say"


    I shook my head "no, I would have misunderstood it if I found the truth in other means. That''s why I


    wanted you to tell me the truth. I wanted to hear it from you. Do you know why?"


    He looked at me but didn''t say anything. It was like he wanted me to continue, to tell him what I thought


    about it.


    "Because I would believe everything you say without an ounce of doubt in my heart"


    An emotion shed in his eyes as he pulled me for a tight hug pressing me to him so hard that he


    feared to let me go. Like I would disappear if he showed any hesitation.


    "There''s no way I will let you leave me. I will tear down this world only to have you beside me"


    I felt my eyes moistened as I heard his voice. I had lost my trust in love after I was betrayed by Avan. I


    used to think that my life ends here and there''s no chance for me to actually experience what true love


    feels like. Until ....until this man decided to barge in my life turning it to such a point where I couldn''t


    imagine my life without him. Howe I am drowned in his love that makes me so blind where I


    couldn''t see anyone except him. And suddenly I felt like there was always him. I never experienced


    love because Avan was not him. Because my heart was waiting for him to find me.


    "I will never leave you. No matter what" I said like a promise. I know being with him will bring numerous


    troubles but I will ept everything if it does mean I can stay with him. Except him, nothing matters to


    me anyway. He is my mate, my love and the man of my life.


    After breaking the hug I looked at him with love. His dominating orbs gazing at my soul like he owns it.


    And I know each and every part of me screaming his name.


    "You are not angry with me?"


    I chuckled "you thought I was mad at you?"

    After two days staying in Snow Moon Hardwick and I decided to return. It was because there''s so many


    thing left to settled and we can''t stay long leaving the pack free.


    "Do visit when you get time darling" mom said as she smiled.


    "I will mom" I smiled at her.


    "You just came and now you are leaving again. I will miss you so much Sav" Tanea hugged me warmly.


    "I will visit you soon. Till then take care of you and your little baby" Iughed. It was a huge surprise for


    me that I got to know Tanea was pregnant. Because I visited in a rush there was not much time to talk


    about it. Besides, I was not nervous that I failed to notice her unfamiliar behavior too. But I am d.


    Soon a little baby boy or girl will call me aunt. It is too exciting. Devak was so happy when I


    congratted him. Looks like my brother finally decided to start his family.


    When we reached Dark Forest I saw Ryan was standing at the pack entrance with Jenny. He was still


    having his arrogant look while Jenny behind him stood with a flushed face.


    "He is with Jenny?" Hardwick frowned as he drove towards the entrance.


    "You have no idea?"


    "Should I know something?"


    "Hmm... Jenny is his mate"


    "What?" He looked shocked as he looked at me.


    I just shrugged my shoulders in response. Ryan hides it well. Even from Hardwick too. And I find it


    interesting.


    "Finally you two are here. I am tired of handling this pack matter" Ryan sighed in relief when he saw us


    getting down from the car.


    "What happened?" Hardwick asked as he held my waist and led me towards the entrance.


    "Dney is causing trouble. That woman lost her mind and would not listen to anyone. I believe she


    lost all her sanity" Ryan informed, shaking his head.


    "I have much to do with this matter. I was not informed a bit as that damn woman entered my pack


    without me knowing" Hardwick clenched his jaw.


    I looked at him and thought for a while "may your informers didn''t know about her returning"


    "What?" Hardwick and Ryan looked at me.


    "That''s impossible, I mean the security is too tight to pass the entrance" Ryan shook his head again.


    I shrugged "It''s just my intuition. The day she came in the pack I think that''s the day I bumped into her. I


    saw Daisy came to greet her but other than that I didn''t noticed anyone"


    "Fuck" Hardwick cursed "but it still doesn''t prove theck security work. I will have him understand how


    to work properly"


    "But why did Daisye to meet her?" I frowned.


    "Daisy is Dney''s younger sister," Ryan replied.


    My eyes widened. I always wondered why Daisy targeted me. She never showed any respect nor she


    treated me like a Mistress. She even used me of snatching another''s position as Luna. I never got


    clear answers to her behaviour. But now everything is clear again. She bore so much hatred for me


    because she thinks I am taking Dney aka her sister position. So she took me as her enemy as soon


    as she got to know I am Hardwick''s mate. Now her behaviour is understandable.


    "From your expression I guess you are aware of their rtionship Luna" Ryan said as he smirked.


    "I expected them to have a connection though I never thought they would be siblings" I replied.


    "Both of them are one type. Greedy with high expectations. No one canpare them in this field in


    this world. I can guarantee this"


    Jenny pped Ryan''s arm "why are you insulting like that?"


    "Why can''t I? Haven''t you seen them causing trouble in these two days? I say who with a stable mind


    does that. Hell, I couldn''t even sleep properly at night because of their action" Ryan rolled his eyes.


    "I am not gonna leave this easily. This time I have to make decisions for good. I can''t let them win over


    this and waste my time here" Hardwick said as he pulled me towards the pack house.


    "Does Ajim know it?" He asked again.


    "No, he is not here. Besides, he already disowned Dney 7 years ago. You know he left the pack


    saying he wanted to get some peace of mind" Ryan replied.


    "Good, this time I don''t want the elders interfering in my matter. I have had enough of their advice. If


    any of them has any mind to involve then just discard them. No need to ask me"


    My eyes widened as I looked at my mate. Did he really mean it? He said it like some kind of casual


    thing. From his behaviour I can say that Hardwick is too serious.

    Luina was already waiting in the hall. She smiled when she saw us.


    "Master, Mistress you have returned"


    "Go, take and shower then rest for a while. There''s still time for dinner"


    I smiled "are you noting?"


    He smirked, "Do you want me to share a bath with you?"

    He chuckled "I can''t help it. How can a hot blooded man keep himself in control when his mate is this


    damn beautiful?"


    I felt myself blushing. I am d that he is whispering or I would feel more embarrassed. This man really


    knows how to make me die with embarrassment.


    "You are really pervert" I hissed but it only made him smirk.


    He leaned down and whispered in my ear "I haven''t shown my pervert ways yet darling. Would you like


    to see the demo?"


    My face flushed and I pushed him away from me. Someday I will die with embarrassment because of


    this man. I rubbed my cheeks trying to wipe the blush.


    "Okay, I really don''t want to witness those lovey-dovey moments. It''s too sweet, I fear I will get my


    blood sugar level high" Ryan joked from behind.


    "Shut up. What are you saying" Jenny scolded him.


    "I didn''t do anything. I was just stating the truth" Ryan shrugged.


    Jenny red at him then turned to me smiling embarrassingly. There was a trace of helplessness in


    her eyes. I shook my head and turned towards the stairs. Luina was already following me. But before I


    could step on the stairs another voice had me stopped in the middle.


    "Alpha?"


    My head snapped towards the side and found Hardwick already looking at the person who just walked


    in the hall. My blood boiled instantly as I saw her face.
