She waved her hand at the bartender. “Another round.” She nced around the gloomy bar.

shots to be poured. He set them in front of her and she lifted one to her mouth as a shadow fell over
her. She inhaled and the smell of a cat filled her nose. She lifted her lips in a snarl.

A tall, dark haired man with honey amber colored eyes leaned against the bar with his ankles
crossed. He smirked as she downed the shots and ordered another round for the entire bar.
