    Thaddeus and Rnd didn’t return till the next morning from the council as I was getting ready to


    head to work. Rnd didn’t like the idea of me going, but calmed down after I rang Amara and she said


    she would spend the day working with me, since Imogen was busy looking after Bianca who was


    recovering slowly.


    I was walking to my car and had just opened the door when Orion stopped me, grabbing my arm. I

    “Are you going to work?” He asks.

    the car. Orion turns walking back inside and I reverse out pulling out of the driveway only to jam on the


    brakes when I see Thaddeus behind my car.

    actually try sneaking off” He says leaning in the car.


    “I have to go to work, at least until I find someone to take over” I tell him.

    “Why are you here?” I ask looking up at Rnd when they leave.


    “Pick you up early, Orion and Mara should get here soon”he says, kissing my cheek.


    “Well since you''re here you can help me finish cleaning up then” I tell him hopefully.
