Chapter 171
Chloe
As the relentless sun zed overhead, casting its searing heat upon the members of the Red Moon Pack and our guests from
the Frost Fang Pack, we all gathered in the open clearing.
Sharing valuable pieces of information and conducting training to strengthen our packs, those were matters agreed upon by the
Red Moon Pack and the Frost Fang Pack. Since strengthening the pack was one of our priorities, we didn''t waste any time and
immediately scheduled a training by the Frost Fang Pack.
As the Alpha of the Red Moon Pack, | thought everything was going smoothly. | didn''t take into consideration the state of mind of
my pack members.
No matter what their reason was, the Frost Fang Pack''s attack was still fresh in my pack members’ mind. Thus, although they
were attending the training as | had ordered, | could clearly see the negative expressions on their faces.
Especifically, everyone''s faces bore expressions of clear discontent when their gazes settled on ke and Idris, who stood at the
forefront. | arched an eyebrow in response, sensing the lingering reluctance of my proud pack members to ept outsiders,
particrly those who attacked them, guiding their training.
ke remained stoic, unperturbed by my pack member''s tant disapproval. On the other hand, Idris couldn''t hide his irritation,
his features marred by annoyance.
"| will first give you a simple introduction before going to the demonstrations."
"The art of assassination takes on a mysterious and fascinating form. It''s not merely about stealthily ending someone''s life, it''s a
complex blend of cunning, precision, and the harnessing of supernatural abilities," although he was irritated, Idris religiously
exined.
“As an assassin, you are akin to a phantom of the night, trained to move without making a sound and to remain unseen by all..."
“Your knowledge must run deep... understanding the anatomy and vulnerabilities of both human and werewolf forms. The craft of
poison is a potent tool in your arsenal, your greatest weapon..."
The dialogue unfolded, with Idris delving into the intricate art of assassination. He exined the nuances and strategies, with
ke lending his assistance for the demonstrations.
| watched them intently, and though the Red Moon Pack members appeared to be listening, a cloud of skepticism hung over
them.
‘They know they have to learn from ke and Idris, but they are very reluctant to do so... if this continued, then this training
would be a waste of time...’ | thought with a frown.
‘What are you going to do, ke?’ | thought as | looked around my pack members. Even Caleb, who is known for his unwavering
discipline, wore a hostile expression that seemed aimed directly at ke.
io... In fact, Caleb''s hostility was the most palpable among the others. It was as if he were sending invisible daggers towards
ke.
"Oh? Could it be... that he realized that Alpha Sabre has the same identity as ke, the Lycan King?’ rmed, | couldn''t help but
think for a moment before dismissing that thought.
‘No, that couldn''t be. Otherwise... it wouldn''t end just like this..."
‘But why is Caleb so hostile against ke?’ Caleb was always calm and reliable, seeing him like that, | couldn''t help but raise a
brow.
Fortunately, ke carried on, seemingly oblivious to Caleb''s animosity, focusing solely on the training.
After the end of Idris and ke''s demonstration, Idris announced, "Group yourselves into two and follow the actions we just
demonstrated now."
While the pack members were busy grouping themselves, suddenly, Caleb''s voice carried an undertone of polite sarcasm as he
turned his attention to ke.
"Alpha Sabre," he began, a sly smile ying at his lips, "since you''ve graced us with your presence, how about giving us a
personal demonstration of your skills? As the Alpha of the Frost Pang Pack, would you give me the honor of personally teaching
me?
“How about the two of us spar for a bit?"
Aclear provocation. Although he called it a spar, it was obvious that Caleb was challenging ke.
| was startled while a collective tension settled over the clearing as everyone here experienced the fight when the Frost Fang
Pack first arrived in the pack. Everyone had a taste of ke''s power. Thus, a lot of the members started getting worried that
Caleb would get hurt and so most of the pack members turned to look at me, asking me with their eyes to stop Caleb.
However, | surprised them all by simply watching, my expression neutral.
ke turned to look at Caleb and raised a brow. And everposed, he considered Caleb''s request before nodding.
"Very well, Caleb. | ept your challenge. But let''s make this interesting." A collective gasp was heard around the pack. Caleb''s
eyes turned colder as he asked, "What do you suggest?"
"| get something if | win and vice versa," ke responded calmly.
Caleb''s curiosity piqued, and he raised an eyebrow. "You want a prize for the winner?"
“Well, what do you want if you win?"
ke''s response was unexpected. "I don''t want anything from you, Caleb," he said with a small, enigmatic smile.
“But Alpha Chloe can grant the prize," he suddenly said, making the field filled with murmurs.
"What? He wants something from the Alpha?!"
“How presumptuous!"
"This Alpha Sabre... Isn''t he being too much?" The crowd angrily murmured.
However, ke ignored and continued, "Of course, if you win, you can have a prize too. If Alpha Chloe agrees with this, of
course.”
My eyes narrowed as | stared at ke. A prize? What are you nning, ke? But no matter how | tried, | could not see through
his thoughts.
On the other hand Caleb, however, grew suspicious. "What kind of prize are you talking about, Alpha Sabre?" He hissed.
ke met Caleb''s gaze evenly. "A home-cooked meal by Alpha Chloe herself."

"What a unique prize Alpha Sabre. How dare you dream of eating the food that | made?," | said with a cold voice, making
everyone turn quiet.
“But since it''s a prize for a spar, then | will reluctantly agree," | added before a smirk form on my lips.
"The of you, do your best in your spar."
