    Chloe''s POV


    I cautiously surveyed my surroundings, my eyes struggling to pierce through the imprable


    darkness entuated by the torrential downpour. The heavy rain obscured visibility to near-zero levels,


    creating an ideal atmosphere for concealment. Above, the tumultuous sky roared with thunder and


    dazzling shes of lightning, further intensifying the ominous ambiance.


    In the midst of this, a voice expressed frustration, breaking the tense silence. It was Vanessa, her face


    adorned with annoyance as she battled the raindrops sshing on her skin. Curious, I discreetly
