“What about her?” Alpha Nick was greatly disturbed, finding it hard to be away from his daughter.
It was the reason they had to leave the Dark Moon Pack very early to make it to the Riverbed Pack
on time.
He was bent on returning as soon as the ceremony was over. Dustin recounted everything as fast
as he could, sensing Alpha Nick’s desperation from his
voice.
“Goldie wanted to stay back from training to take care of her, but the little girl kept crying, so we took
her along. She was so happy and even practiced moves on her own. The warriors loved her, but
she almost got kidnapped,”
“How?” Alpha Nick’s hand holding the phone shook as Dustin tried to exin everything as fast as
he could.
“Aqua tried to kidnap her but won’t say why, I wanted to banish her but thought I should first wait for
you. Perhaps you can force her to confess before anything else.”
Alpha Nick was enraged but happy that Dustin was able to get it under control. He was determined
to find out Aqua’s reason for trying to kidnap his daughter.
Aqua was just a widow in the pack, so how could she even think of something like this?
“Good. We shall leave here in a few hours.”
Alpha Nick ended the call and since he was now eager to go home with his wife and parents to his
daughter, he said to Ansaldo’s father,
“Do you promise to deal with them, or should I do it? If they aren’t well dealt with before the end of
the coronation, I will assume that the security of my sister is questionable and take her with me as I
go.”
Ansaldo’s father already had a punishment in mind. Breaking ties with the East Red Pack would be
his greatest form of revenge.
“Nick, this matter involves my y son’s life. Do you think I will be so fickle about it?”

Bree stiffened a little but knew she could not hide it from him as there would be a lot of times that
her powers coulde into great use.

“Will you believe it if said that I have some powers?” Bree asked directly but did not see the kind of
surprise she wanted in Ansaldo’s pack.
His response was simple. “No. I won’t believe it. I was with you at your pack and even over here,
there was not a sign of it.”
Bree rxed and exined it further to him. “My mother had the gift of seeing visions which she
uses to protect the Dark Moon Pack, but today, she transferred it to me as my coronation gift.”
There were some guests headed to their table, and Ansaldo beckoned Alden to take care of them.

Bree knew that even without powers, the Dark Moon Pack would be fine but still revealed their little
secret.
“Well, her main powers were given to Daisy, Alpha Nick, and Sheridan’s daughter.”
“He has a daughter?” Ansaldo’s mind traveled to that night. Fate was a strange thing. Alpha Nick
and Luna Sheridan had ended up in bed together that night.
No wonder Sheridan was very upset afterward. She was still angry with Alpha Nick by then.
“It was meant to be a surprise when we attend their coronation next week, but since it came up for
discussion, I guess I don’t have a reason to hide it from you anymore.”
Alpha Ansaldo’s lips curled upward. “So are you telling me that the greater part of her powers were
transferred to your baby niece?”
Though not having seen Daisy, Ansaldo made a rough calction of the time in his mind and knew
that if the child belonged to Alpha Nick, then she would still be a baby.
“Exactly my point. The only one I have is seeing into the future.”
“That sounds like an asset to the pack,” Ansaldo smiled gleefully, and Bree was d there were no
secrets between them anymore.

Ansaldo pinched her slightly on the nose. “You make it seem as if having powers is something
offensive.”
Yeah, it was not a strange thing for some people to be gifted with special powers. Bree should have
thought about that before allowing nervousness to consume her.
Perhaps she was only afraid because he loved her when she did not have any powers and was
afraid for his affection for her changing because of it.
“I love you so much,” she said genuinely, staring into his eyes.

Alpha Nick’s voice cut through their conversation, and they wandered for how long he had been
standing there.
Ansaldo was saddened that they were leaving so early. “Aren’t you sleeping over?”

urgent for us to take care of. We shall see you next week,” Alpha Nick said, smiling at his sister.
Bree and Alpha Ansaldo escorted them to their car. After Alpha Nick, Sheridan, and his parents left,
Alpha Ansaldo and Bree were attending to other matters, only for Bree to turn pale.
“Ansaldo, I think your father is in danger.”
