Athena quickly withdrew her hand as if his touch burned her. She, who never liked to be separated from her son, was
now trying to distance herself from him. She knew how strong the mate bond was, but could it also make someone like an
Alpha so stupid? Or should she use the word, ‘negligent?”
She was determined to make him see reason and understand the depth of the situation, as she didn’t feel that the pack would be safe with someone like
