My heart thunders as I look around the apartment. Did the generator’s fuse blow?
I have half an urge to open the door and to look down below to see if someone’s going to do something
about it, but not after what just happened with Zade.
I look around. shes of the night when I was attacked in my apartment years ago return to me again,

Entering my bedroom, I toss the towel onto the chair before getting into bed. I pull the duvet over me
and close my eyes, weing sleep…
