Yesterday, when I hugged her, she went stiff in my arms and did not return the hug. She quickly

for how I treated you yesterday.” She apologises and I start shaking my head.
I don''t care how she treated me yesterday. She definitely had her reasons and they are valid.
What''s important is what''s happening today.
“I acted that way because seeing you after all these reminded me of your father and how he
betrayed our bond. I felt hurt again for the first time in many years. I''m so sorry.”

I don''t know how it''s going to work, but I trust her. She''s my mother. She loves me and she''ll do her

Pain courses through my heart at the thought of forgetting Alpha Reagan and moving on with my
