Catherine’s POV
I went downstairs with Hedwig, and I saw Howard’s car parked outside the parlor. He pushed the door
open and got out of the car hastily.
Then he hurriedly opened the rear seat door and came in holding a baby who was crying her eyes out.

ke, if you don’t let go, I will leave!” I had a temper. He was pushing my boundaries.
ke’s voice softened as he said, “Fine. I won’t do anything. Don’t go.”
Seeing that he had finally let go, I was secretly relieved.
I continued to wipe his face, while he stared at me without blinking at all, and his burning gaze made
me panic even more.
