He didn’t forget to tease Yao before heading upstairs.
“You let a woman do this to you. It’s embarrassing to even speak of it.” As soon as he entered the room, the strong smell of disinfectant made Jiang Jinchen frown. He stepped forward.
His eyes nted towards Dan Hanjie, whoy serenely on the hospital bed.
“Mr. Jie, it’s time to change your dressing.” Yao, who was a step behind, entered with a group of medical staff.
“Unless you want me to gag you, I suggest you shut up for a while.”
Dan Hanjiey on the bed, hisplexion ghastly. His lips were a hint of pale, his ck eyes profound. He cast a nce at the noisy Jiang Jinchen.<div>

Jiang Jinchen shrugged his shoulders, nomittal.
He just stood to the side, not approaching.
He just watched as a team of nurses unbuttoned Dan Hanjie’s shirt, exposing the wound wrapped inyers of gauze.<div>
Seeing the gruesome wound that was still seeping blood, Jiang Jinchen unconsciously furrowed his brow.
His palm clenched tightly.
Just by looking at the wound, you could tell the stab was deep, and there were two stabs in session. No wonder his face looked so terrible.
Only after the team of medical staff retreated did Jiang Jinchen approach with a hard face.
“Are you deliberately dismissive of your own life, or do you really think you have nine lives? You’ll ept anything sent to you!”
“It won’t kill me.”
Dan Hanjie casually pulled at his wrinkled hospital gown. When he tugged at the wound on his chest, he sucked in a breath of cold air and looked annoyed.

His cold eyes looked to Yao, “Why hasn’t there been any news back yet today?”
