Theresa wasn’t surprised cause she knew the mayor was invited and that he was going to attend with
her mother. But a few seconds after they had sat, Broderick sighted a slim figure walked in, dressed in a
simple cloth, carrying a tray containing food and drink in her hand, some other people also walked in with
a tray of food and water in their hand and then began to serve people. The first woman who walked in
was Amy. The fuck! What was Amy doing here? Broderick wondered. Did he not give her a cheque of
