    She heard the door close, and the corners of her lips twitched into a smile. Despite the sharp throbbing of her ankle, a trace of joy shed in her eyes.

    As soon as Yao Tang walked up to the second floor, she saw Yang Niancarrying Yao Raninto one of the guest rooms. However, she didn’t stay there much longer.


    Instead, she walked to another room, looking for a possible location for the Head of the Yang Family.


    From the looks of it, he should be in the bedroom or the study.


    With a slow nod, she headed for these two directions.
