Aaron reached up to rub his arm and said, “I overheard Selena talking to Aveline on the phone. She sounds pretty certain. What did you do to make her want to leave Cloudre City?”
But he received no answer; Lucas hung up on him abruptly.
“What a temper!” Aaronmented, setting his phone aside and leaning back against the headboard.
“Selena!” He called out loudly, immediately feeling dizzy and unwell.
