    “What gift would Leo give to me?” Lauren thought.


    Lauren guessed maybe it was a doll or Lego. That was also what Leo liked. What’s more, the box was


    wrapped in pink color, so Lauren believed it might be a small toy. However, after opening the box, she


    was surprised.


    It was actually a piece of white jade in the shape of a cat’s w, which was delicate and pure. It was


    really a lovely gift. Rubbing and pinching the jade with her fingertips. Lauren felt like she was touching


    the real cat’s w.


    She also found that there was a bead with a name on it. It was KITTY. When Lauren saw this name,


    she was super surprised. “How could it be so coincidental?” Lauren thought because she had a cat


    called Kitty when she was seven or eight years.


    Leo was a sensitive and careful child and since Lauren opened the gift box, he had been looking at her

    Because of crying, Leo’s eye turned red and swollen so Lauren took him to the upstairs room to wash

    othes. Daphne hurried over and wanted to take Leo to wash his face. But Leo held Lauren tightly.


    Lauren smiled at Daphne and said, “I’ll help wash his face.”


    Daphne said, “Thank you for that, Miss Bet.”


    When they reached Leo’s room, Lauren helped Leo take off his coat and then led him to the bathroom
