CELINE’s POV
After I was certain that Cynthia was already fast asleep, I sneaked over to the opposite side of the
room and quietly opened herptop. I essed the recordings that were stored in my cloud storage
and then backed them up, before I copied the piece of information into the phone I was using.
After I had finished using theptop, I turned it off and walked back to the room, where I was surprised
to hear Cynthia talking to herself while she was asleep.
“Why do you love her?” She uttered a mumble. “Why should it not be me?”
It appeared as though she was even considering the answer to that question while she slept.
I heaved a sigh as I sat next to her and dabbed away the te were gathering in the outer corner of her
