As I made my way out of Sebastian’s room, I pretended that I waspletely calm. I’m not sure
whether or not I should carry out my n, which involved ying a role in seducing him. When I was in
his presence, I couldn’t help but get the impression that things were getting increasingly beyond my
control.

I was standing at the entrance of the vi and had the intention of going home when Mr. Anderson saw
me.
“Celine, my dear!” he eximed as he pulled me in for a hug. “Where do you intend to go?”
“I…I’m going home…” I whispered, looking down on the floor.
“Haven’t I already advised you to spend the night here?”
“Yes, but I…”
“Daddy, let her go!” Just as I was about to continue, I was interrupted by Cynthia’s shouting from
the second floor, and when I looked up, I saw her staring at me with her arms crossed over her chest.
“Don’t leave…” Mr. Andersonmanded with authority. “I’ll leave Cynthia to you… You are in no way
obligated to think about or consider us, my dear. Do what needs to be done. You are free to do
so with my blessing…”
“I got it, Mr. Anderson…” I said, nodding my head.
“Dad!” Cynthia hurriedly descended the stairs as quickly as she could. “I don’t want her! This kind of
arrangement is not what I want at all!”
“Don’t even attempt to argue with me, Cynthia!” the old man groaned.’

He leaned down and nted a kiss on his daughter’s forehead.
“I’ve been on the go for the entirety of today, and I’m worn out…” Before leaving the room, he ruffled
his daughter’s hair and said, “I’m going to rest first…”
At this point… it’s just Cynthia and standing in the hallway having a staringpetition.
“Get out!” Cynthia yelled while putting her hands in an arrogant
position on her hips. “Get the hell out of my house! I don’t want you here with me!”
With a grin on my face… I turned around, walked to the room where the sofa was, and sat down on it. I
crossed my legs and gave the angry girl a provoking look while she was fuming.
“h…h…h…” Iughed. “Aren’t you done yet…?”
It appeared as though the spoiled young brat’s raw nerves were chafed by my barefaced provocation,
as evidenced by her murderous re in my direction.
“You shut up, you little wh ore! Who exactly do you think you are?” She yelled at me and threw the
throw pillow in my face, but I didn’t dodge and caught it in my hand instead. “You’re nothing but a se
rvant w h o re! A woman without any decency! What is it that you can teach me? To be a mistress? Or,
what are some ways I can woo my brother- inw?” She gave me a questioning look and raised her
eyebrows: ” Do I really need to learn those sleazy tricks, huh? Tell me!”
I refrained from speaking. I simply smiled my usual, indifferent smile

“What are you grinning for?” seeing me not angry andughing, she couldn’t help but frown and looked
more confused.
“It’s gettingte now… Where’s your room? I’m going to catch up some sleep…” I yawned and

“If my memory serves me correctly, thest thing I heard from your father was that we were going to
stick together and go to the same school. Yes or yes?” I co cked my head to the side and smiled in a
mocking manner.
“Are youpletely out of your pathetic little mind?” her eyes went wide. “You and your filthy body
want to sleep in my room? I’m sorry, but I can’t have any lice in my bed, you rat!” She screamed in utter
revulsion as her eyes gradually became contemptuous. “I don’t know how long it’s been since you’ve
taken a shower, and now you wante to let you sleep in my room? On my very own mattress? Oh, thi to
be the joke of the century!”
I paid no attention to her and instead went directly to a s ervant wh was clearing the tables. “Can you
tell me which floor she sleeps on? And which room is she in?”
The se rvant looked at me and then at Cynthia. She opened her mouth but then stopped when Cynthia
red at her, giving her a warning
look.
Evidently… she was willing to risk not telling me.
“Fine! It’s no big deal…” I shrugged. “I’ll just ask Jake…”
Since no one was willing to tell me, Jake would definitely say it.
When I reached the staircase, Cynthia stood in my way and blocked

“What gives you the idea that you can find Jake?” she asked. “Are you nning to seduce him again
like what you did earlier? Shame on you!

However, she made a speedy recovery after that.

She didn’t finish her sentence, but the meaning was conveyed through the satirical expressions in her
eyes.
My smile vanished almost as quickly as it had appeared, and my eyes narrowed as I fixed my gaze on
the pretentious girl in front of me.
Before she had a chance to avoid my hand, it had alreadynded on
her face.
At this precise instant, everyone’s mouths gaped open… the se vants’ hearts appeared to stop beating,
and their eyes widened in a manner that suggested they had witnessed something terrifying.
