70. GETTING MARRIED
CELINE’S POV
After a brief period of disbelief, Mr. Taylor eventually managed to muster a smile and put out his hand
for me to shake, and I could feel Sasha’s gaze burning towards me. “Celine… right?”
“Yeah…” I nodded in response and extended my hand to shake his calloused one. “Mr. Taylor, it’s no
surprise that I recognize you so easily. Are you the person who had a conversation with my father most
recently when he was… beating me in his house?” I asked him, and he reluctantly gave me a yes.
Right! It was typically the person who was closest to you who ended up betraying you in the end.
I couldn’t help but cr ack a grin as I returned to my customary position next to Jake. Just at that
moment, Mrs. Anderson made her
announcement for her son to take the stage.
As Sebastian approached, he hid his smile and resumed the typk of interest that characterized
him. I heard gaspsing from the girls when they saw Sebastian’s handsome appearance. It
sounded like they were afraid their hearts would leap out of their chests when theyid eyes on him.
The moment Sebastian took his ce next to Brylee, a picture-perfect moment was instantly created.
An attractive man and a stunning woman were the perfect pair, a marriage made in heaven.
“Everyone… we want to take this opportunity to announce that beginning today, when the flowers
bloom, our son will be getting married to the one and only Miss Brylee Lauren!”

I heard them giggle and I couldn’t help but think that Mr. William Anderson was trying to hurry up and
bring his daughter-inw into the family so he could start a new family tradition. Simply because he
believed that my sister was a positive role model for Cynthia.
Almost immediately, there was a rousing round of apuse.
I could see from where I was standing that Brylee waspletely shocked by the announcement,
probably delighted that the wedding was approaching very quickly. She looked up at the man next to
her and I followed her gaze.
Sebastian was not doing anything other than standing there, his facepletely expressionless as he
allowed Brylee to stare at him.
After experiencing a sudden and sharp pain in my chest, I made the decision to leave the venue. I
didn’t say a word to anyone as I left the ce and went on my way.
Jake was too preupied cheering for his cousin to notice that I was

leaving because he was too busy pping his hands to express his happiness.
Before I left the room, I set the wine ss down on the table and felt a buzzing and throbbing pain in
my head. The ce was still packed with people, and I had to squeeze my body to get through the
crowd.
The birthday party for Mrs. Anderson was huge and spectacr; there were reporters taking pictures
everywhere, and random interviews were being conducted at various locations.
I had the impression that I was being submerged in a crowd of people.
I had no choice but to take the way upstairs, choosing thest room, thinking that no one could find me
there. I went ahead and let myself in so that I could get some rest while it was still early.

After drawing the curtain across the window, I kicked off my shoes,id down on the bed, and then
closed my eyes to go to sleep.
SEBASTIAN’s POV
During the time that my father was announcing to everyone that Brylee and I would be getting married
in three months… I noticed that Celine was walking away and appearing to be in a grumpy mood.
She must be feeling tired already…
Jake was so preupied with pping his hands and looking at us with joy in his eyes that he failed to
notice that his girlfriend had already left his side and was standing away from him.
Even though everyone was congratting us, my thoughts kept going back to Celine, and I kept
looking for her in the sea of people, but I couldn’t find her anywhere.

“Sebastian…” When Brylee touched my arm, I immediately turned my head to look at her while wearing
a frown on my face. “Would it be possible for me to spend the night here?”
I couldn’t help but stare at her for a few seconds while wondering how on earth I could have agreed to
marry this woman. Not only did I feel disappointed with her, but I also felt disappointed with myself. I
had the impression that I liked her because she lived up to my ideal of being the perfect person to

“Okay…” She leaned in close and gave my cheek a kiss, and as she turned away to leave, the thought
of her sister came into my head.

I made a move to leave the room and looked for her outside, in the backyard, and around the pool
area, but I was unable to find her.
I was starting to feel lightheaded, so I made the decision to call off
the search for her.
Maybe she’s just roaming around, getting familiar with the house since she’s going to live here to teach
Cynthia good manners.
I arrived at my room, and when I opened the door, I noticed that there was a woman upying my bed.
As I got closer… I was finally able to identify her, and a grin immediately appeared on my face as a
result.
