    Natalie nced back and locked eyes with Rosie beforeying her cards on the table. “Tonight. Mr.


    James asked me out for dinner. Since you’re Gavin’s family, you must know what’s the right outfit for


    visiting the James family. What kind of gift would be appropriate?”


    Rosie stared at her in shock, momentarily at a loss for words. After a brief pause, she whispered in a


    hushed tone. “Are you for real? Are you really Gavin’s girlfriend? My uncle has never allowed Gavin to


    bring ady home! You’re the first, you know!”


    Natalic exined earnestly, “I swear, Gavin and I are just friends. Due to some special reasons. I met


    your uncle first.”


    “So you’re aiming to be my uncle’s wife?!” Rosie was a picture of disbelief.


    Gavin’s mother had passed away nearly a decade ago, and his father, Michael had never remarried.


    Rosie pondered Gavin’s behavior toward Natalie. It seemed friendly, yet there was an extra bit of

    years been all about him and girls in their early twenties? Besides, my uncle takes great care of
