    She winced as he bit down on her corbone, the pain eliciting an involuntary whimper from


    her.


    “Daddy…” Just then, the bedroom door creaked open.


    Brian, who had been pressing down on Natalie, froze in his movements. He paused, turning his head to


    look at the doorway.


    “Daddy, why are you guys… fighting?” Nate rubbed the sleep from his eyes, leaning against the door

    “Natalie seems to be hurt!” He frowned, adding another line of concern.
