through the speakers. “We havee to the end of the Ferris wheel ride. Please take all of your
belongings and exit the pod in an orderly manner.” At the end of the announcement, Naomi asked, “What

Naomi responded. She figured that it probably was not an important question. As they left the
amusement park, Jack had to stop by the office, so Sean sent Naomi home. Naomi noticed that Sean
made multiple attempts to turn his head and say something on the car ride home, but he stopped every
time. When they finally arrived at Hough Mansion, Sean called out for Naomi just as she was about to
get out of the car. “Miss Naomi!”

me book the earliest flight back and even bought a bunch of snacks from Royal City for you. He was only
mad because he didn’t see you when he got home.” “He bought snacks for me?” Naomi’s jaw dropped.
She was at a loss for words. She could hardly believe that the bitter old man woulde home early just
to see her, let alone buy snacks for her.
