356: BRAVE
LUKK’S POV
The man came at me again, but this time I was ready. I blocked his punch andnded a few more of
my own. We were now in the middle of the club, attracting a small crowd. But I didn’t care; I only
thought about protecting that youngdy.
We continued to exchange blows, but finally, I managed to knock the man down with a powerful punch.
I stood there, catching my breath, and then thedy approached me, tears streaming down her face.
“Thank you so much. I didn’t know what to do.”
I gave her a reassuring smile and said, “It’s okay, you’re safe now.
The crowd around us erupted into cheers and apuse. Daniel came up to me with a proud look on his
face and said, “I can’t believe you took down that guy. You’re like a superhero,
man.
Iughed. “What can I say, man? I can’t stand by and watch thatdy suffer. She’s too pretty for that.
And by the way, that man’s an idiot.”
Thedy wiped her tears and offered her hand to me. “I’m Sarah, by the way.“Thank you for helping
me.”
I took her hand and replied, “I’m d I could assist, Sarah. Are you alright? “Do you need any medical
attention?”
Sarah shook her head, still a bit shaken but able to manage a faint smile. “I think I’ll be okay. Thank you
again.”
Just then, the bouncer arrived, assessing the situation. “Is everything under control here?”
Daniel stepped forward, nodding. “Yeah, everything’s fine now. This guy,” he gestured towards the
now–subdued troublemaker, “won’t be causing any more problems.”
The bouncer nodded approving and signaled for security to escort the man out. As themotion
settled, Daniel turned to me with a grin. “You really saved the day, mate. That
wedible.”
I shrugged. “Just doing what anyone would do in that situation.”
Sarah stepped closer, looking grateful. “Thank you again. I don’t know what would have
hargement if you hadn’t dipped in
I waved off her gratitude, offering a trawring erite “No need to thank me just take care of yourself,
strig?a?”
with that, Teaniel and I changed mods, and I watched as Sarah made her way out of the chub,
hopefully feeling a bit sale in The crowd dispersert, and as for me, I had this feeling
f satisfaction for saving thatdy from the filthy hunes of that ridiculous man

Daniel and I made run way to an empty table. The moment we sat down, he pped me on the back, a
wide grin still stered on his face.
“Man, that was intense! I’ve never seen anyone handle themselves like that before.”
chuckled, feeling a mix of exhaustion and aplishment. “Thanks, man. It was a spur–of the moment
thing, but I couldn’t just stand by and watch.”
Daniel nodded, his expression turning more serious. “Yeah, I get that. You did the right thing, Luke.
Sarah’s lucky you were here.”
I ran a hand through my hair, still processing everything that had just happened. “Yeah, I’m just d
she’s okay. That guy was out of control.”
We continued to talk, the music in the club thumped on, and the atmosphere slowly
returned to normal.
Daniel pped me on the shoulder again, breaking me out of my thoughts. “Well, cheers to you, mate.
You’re a hero tonight.”
I grinned, raising my ss in acknowledgment. “Cheers, Dan. But let’s hope the rest of the night is a bit
less eventful.”
We clinked our sses together, settling in to enjoy the rest of the evening. A captivating rhythm filled
the club, drawing our attention to the stage, where a stunning woman began to dance. Her movements
were mesmerizing, manding the attention of everyone in the
room.
Daniel nudged me with his eyes fixed on the woman. “Luke, would you look at that? She’s absolutely
gorgeous.
”
I followed his gaze, nodding in agreement. “Yeah, she’s a great dancer too.”

I shook my head, a smile ying on my lips. “No, I can’t me you. Just don’t let it distract you too

Daniel’s gaze remained fixed on the woman dancing on stage. His eyes gleamed with goddamn
confidence, and I knew what wasing before he even said it.
“Luke,” he whispered. “I think I’m going to go talk to her.”
I shot him a cautious nce, my voice low but urgent. “Are you sure that’s a good idea, Dan? We just
had a whole ordeal back there. Let’s not stir up any more trouble.”
He waved off my concerns, his grin widening. “Come on. What’s the worst that could happen? I’ll just
go introduce myself and maybe buy her a drink. It’ll be fine.”
I sighed. “Alright, but be careful, okay? “We don’t know anything about her, and things can escte
quickly in ces like this.”
He nodded. “Don’t worry, Luke. I’ve got this.”
I watched him as he walked to thedy. She had just finished dancing, and now they had
started their conversation.
Still sitting down, ady approached me. She had long, brte hair cascading down her back and
was wearing a stunning ck dress that showed off her ample cleavage.

confidence and beauty, and I felt a strong pull towards her. At this point, I was wondering what she
would say or do next.
“Hey there,” she said with a coy smile, her voice smooth and alluring. I couldn’t help but notice you
sitting here all alone. Would you mind if I joined you?”
I blinked, momentarily taken aback by her forwardness, but quickly regained myposure. “Uh, sure,
go ahead,” I replied, gesturing to the empty seat across from me.
She slid gracefully into the chair, her piercing gaze locking onto mine. “I’m Cam,” she introduced

brings you to a ce like this tonight?”
I hesitated, not quite sure how much to reveal to this mysterious woman. “Just out with a friend, trying
to unwind after a long week,” I finally replied, opting for a vague answer.
Cam nodded, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. “Ah, I see. Well, I’m d fate brought us together

“Say what now?” I asked, raising an eyebrow.
“What do you do for a living?”
I gave her a confused look. “Uhmm, excuse me?”
“Yes, what’s your job? You know, I don’t hang around with broke guys. They’re not worth my time. And
they’re not worthy of having sex with ady like me.”
“Oh, I see. In that case, you should leave. Because I’m the perfect definition of broke.”
She gaped at me. “Oh my god, are you for real?”
