"We''re uninjured for the most part. Some of us got hit by the tentacle." Those tentacles were fast whips as they mmed into her party. She sighed, "We should put more distance between us and the swamps." It was time to change how they move forward. The wings were farther away from the center group.
"I''ll change it." Titus nodded as he quickly changed the formation of the group. He had the wings closer to the center.
"Let''s move forward."
...
"Huh?! What do you mean Keith went on a dungeon exploration?!" Carolyn''s eyes widened when she heard that. During ss, she noticed Keith was absent. She found it strange and went to ask Gabriel about it.
"Why did no one tell me about it?!" "Because we thought there was no need to?"
"There''s really nothing to worry about," Gabriel sighed, "It''s Keith. That guy could probably survive any disaster."
"And I hear that he''s with some strong adventurers as well," Herrickmented. He and Melor went to the guild again to do some training. And he talked with Madison about Keith.
"..." Carolyn still had a discontent expression. Why did he go without saying anything to me? Usually, Keith would give her a heads-up before he did anything crazy.
So why now?
...
"We can rest up here," Titus stated. The group was now at the end of the second floor. Their exploration had been going smoothly for the most part. It wasn''t a fast or slow pace. However, it was more than enough. The only hup was the eyeball monsters.
"We''ll have our dinner here as we rest."
"Finally." Some adventurers sighed in relief. As they explored the dungeon, they didn''t have time for lunch. It was a rush job. They had to deal with the monstersing their way, so they shoved jerky in their mouths to satisfy their hunger.
Like that, each party separated from the other. Meals were procured by each party. Keith turned to Morgan, "Morgan, can I get a piece of a dragator?"
"Hmm? What do you want to do with it?"
"I want to cook it." Finding an exciting ingredient from the get-go was significant enough. Keith knew he had to try it out the moment they killed it.
"Sure, you can take some. But do you want to eat with us?" Morgan questioned. They had more than enough rations to share.
"No. I don''t want to impose." Keith shook his head.
"Alright. But stay close to our party." Morgan smiled.
"Mmhmm." Keith nodded and was about to start cooking when someone came from behind.
"Keith, please cook for me!" Groa grinned.
"Groa, what are you doing?!" "How could you ask him to cook for you?!"
Craig, Morgan, and the other adventurers stared at Groa. How could this person ask a child to cook for him? He was shameless!
"Sure, I don''t mind." Keith scratched his head. Groa''s smile beamed ten-fold. The same could be said for the others. Well, in the reverse. They couldn''t help but re at him.
Keith thought about what to prepare as he moved away from the group. He found himself in a small corner where he could do his thing. Keith pped his hands together,
I got it. Keith quickly brought his equipment and other herbs from his storage.
"What are you going to make, Keith?" Groa was excited as his bear ears started to wiggle around. Keith smiled,
"I''m going to cook a pork soup with dragator meat. The second will be pasta with a saupple and dragator steak to top it."
"Ooh! I will stand out of your way!" Groa took a few steps back, letting the master do whatever he wanted. Keith nodded as he got to work. Cooking the soup was the easiest.
He took out some cubes and tossed them into the pot. Sniffing, Groa remembered this smell,
"Is this how you make the pork soup in the cart?"
"Mmhmm." Keith nodded. But there was a difference with these cubes. They were dried. Doing this changed the vor. There was a more pronounced vor when it was dried.
After tossing them in, add some onion bits and some carrots, and it was good to go. Boiling it was thest thing left.
