    <span style="font-weight:400">While Keith and Aria had the time of their life, the same couldn''t be said about Herrick. A dark expression was stered on his face as he swung his sword outside.


    <span style="font-weight:400">How am I on probation?! Herrick couldn''t believe it. His punishment was to stay on the ind for a few days! It was considered light for all the damage he caused. However, for Herrick, this was all wrong.


    <span style="font-weight:400">Those guys were the ones who started the entire fight! Herrick could hear it all.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Have you heard? That Herrick joined that ind!"


    <span style="font-weight:400">"He''s such a horrible teacher! How could instructor Shire ask him to teach us?!"


    <span style="font-weight:400">"And he was so cocky as well!"


    <span style="font-weight:400">When that was said, Herrick couldn''t control himself and started beating them up. As he did that, the instructor quickly arrived to break them up.


    <span style="font-weight:400">He got in trouble instead of those students? That didn''t sit well with him!


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Are you really going to mope around like this?" Herrick turned to see Gabriel standing on the sidelines. He wore his training gear.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Shouldn''t you be in ss?" It was the middle of the day.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"I''m skipping it," Gabriel answered coolly.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"I see," Herrick said nothing more as he returned to swinging his sword. As he did,


    <span style="font-weight:400">"If you keep swinging like that, nothing will change."


    <span style="font-weight:400">A bulge formed on Herrick''s head, "Are you here to annoy me?" He was standing there and talking.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Not to annoy you. But to make something clear. You''re weak." Gabriel dered.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"What?" Herrick''s expression changed as he stared at Gabriel. That was because of the difference between them. He understood Keith was better than him. But the same couldn''t be said about Gabriel.


    <span style="font-weight:400">Herrick viewed him as someone weaker than him. The various tests they had in the beginning showed that he was stronger.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"If I''m so weak, how about you face me?" Herrick scoffed.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Sure." Anticipating he would say this, Gabriel raised his sword, prepared to fight. Like that, the match started between the two.


    <span style="font-weight:400">Herrick was the first to make the move as he charged at him! The first person to make a move would be the victor! Herrick had a bigger body than him. Overpowering Gabriel was the only thing he needed to do.


    <span style="font-weight:400">Baam! With one move, the entire ground was blown to smithereens. Herrick wasn''t done as he swung his sword back and forth!


    <span style="font-weight:400">There was no stopping him as the ground continued to be destroyed.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Are you going to keep running away?!" Herrick yelled. Gabriel was only dodging. He was running away from him!


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Oh," Gabriel was calm as he ignored Herrick''s insults. He continued to dodge Herrick''s swing. As he did, that caused Herrick to fume up even more.


    <span style="font-weight:400">It will hit him! His sword wouldnd on him at some point!


    <span style="font-weight:400">I''ll go even faster! Herrick put more force into his swing. But that was when Gabriel made his move! Without a secondter, Gabriel swung his sword.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"You lost."


    <span style="font-weight:400">"..." Herrick stared down in disbelief. The sword was right in front of his throat. Gabriel took a sigh and moved his sword away from his throat.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Stop acting so dazed. You lost." Gabriel shook his head.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"If I-"


    <span style="font-weight:400">"If you used your beastified state, you would have lost the same way." Gabriel finished his sentence. He knew what he was going to say.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"..." Herrick wanted to say something else. Yet, no words wereing from his mouth. That was because of how serious Gabriel was. His eyes were unwavering, disying no doubt in his answer.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"I''ll give you a piece of advice. It doesn''t matter how hard you swing your sword or how you work out. You''re not going to beat Keith and me." Gabrielmented before walking away.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Good job, student Gabriel." As Gabriel entered the mansion again, he saw that Aidiun was waiting for him there.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"I didn''t do anything that needs praise, professor."


    <span style="font-weight:400">"No, Herrick needed someone else to beat him." For Herrick to grow, he needed to lose more. He needed this right now. It couldn''t be Keith again. That wouldn''t make him grow as a person. It had to be someone else.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"I wonder when he''s going to return," Gabriel muttered as he thought about when Keith would return.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Indeed." Aidiun thought the same.
