    <span style="font-weight:400">Shire continued, "The concept of one element being the strongest cannot be applied. Each element is weak against another. For instance, wind magic is weak to fire as wind magic would increase the output of fire magic. While fire magic is weak against water as water quenches it."


    <span style="font-weight:400">As Shire exined this to everyone, he disyed it in his hand. Wind magic was flown into the fire, causing the fire to burn brighter. And then water quenching the fire.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Today''s ss will be testing your defensive capabilities. We will have you split into different groups based on what you wrote as your main attribute."


    <span style="font-weight:400">"What did you write as your main attribute, Keith?" Carolyn nudged his back,


    <span style="font-weight:400">"I wrote earth magic."


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Eh? Shouldn''t it be lightning?" Carolyn questioned. Keith was great at using lightning magic.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"I am. But I don''t need to focus on that," Keith''s lightning and wind magic abilities were high. There was no need for the professors to teach him. He wanted to focus on the others.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Oh," Carolyn sighed.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Why do you sound so unhappy?"


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Because I wanted to fire magic at you,"


    <span style="font-weight:400">"..." Keith moved a few centimeters away from her. This woman is deadly.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Alright. Students who use fire magic will get up first. And students with wind magic will fire basic spells at them." Shire instructed. Carolyn got up. Her main element was fire. As did Gabriel, who had written wind.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Wind spear!" Gabriel and the other mages fired wind magic at Carolyn and the others.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Fire shield!" A me shield appeared in front of them. When the wind spears made contact with the barrier, it absorbed the wind magic, causing the mes to burn brighter.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Alright! Good job! Let''s keep going!" Shire pped his hands. Like that, another group of students got up. As this kept going,


    <span style="font-weight:400">"This is boring!" Everyone turned their head to Herrick. He was the one who said it. Shire frowned,


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Do you have something to say about my methods, student Herrick?"


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Yes. This ss is boring. We should be learning how to fight. Not doing something like this!"


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Do you think you can fight when you don''t understand the fundamentals of magic?" Shire questioned.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"No, all I know is that the weak will be preyed on by the strong!"


    <span style="font-weight:400">"I agree. We should be fighting!" Melor added as well. He wasn''t the type to sit back.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Then you two can go ahead and leave," Shire wouldn''t let anyone tell him how to run his ss. Herrick and Melor smiled as they got up.


    <span style="font-weight:400">And those two weren''t alone. The dwarves and the beastmen got up.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Since our prince isn''t staying, I''ll leave with him!"

    <span style="font-weight:400">The beastmen and dwarves walked out of the ssroom without a thought. Like that, half of the ss was left! But Shire could care less about this,


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Those with water magic,e up and switch in! The fire mages will be firing at them this time!" Like that, they continued, but when it came for the turn with earth and water,


    <span style="font-weight:400">There are not enough earth mages. There was an unequal number of students. Keith scratched his head. What should we do about this?


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Keith, you will make earth pirs for the missing students," Shire dered.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Understood!" Keith nodded. Like that, multiple earth pirs formed from the ground. The water mages fired their magic at it, and the earth absorbed it.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Next up is the lightning mages," Shire stated as he turned to Keith, "I will leave it up to you,"


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Understood," Keith nodded as he cast more earth spears. There was a row of earth magic in front of the students.


    <span style="font-weight:400">Without a secondter, the earth spears fired,nding on the lightning shields. But when that happened,


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Kya!" A student cried as she quickly ducked down from the earth spear.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Are you alright?!" Keith quickly walked over to the student.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"I''m fine," The student nodded her head. The earth spear flew over her head.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Phew,"


    <span style="font-weight:400">"That''s the other effect. If you add enough mana, the magic will pierce through even with the weakness." Shire stated.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Make sure to hold your magic back. It''s practice, understand?"


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Understood." Keith nodded. Like that, Keith and the rest continued on with the practice.
