    <span style="font-weight:400">During dinner, Keith and the family were having a meal. It was quite a feast. It was the day before Keith''s journey to the academy.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Keith, do you really have to take this test?" Sophia questioned.


    <span style="font-weight:400">Keith nodded, "Mmhmm, I have to take the test," It was something he needed to do.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"But I''m surprised," Alvin added as he snapped his fingers, "I thought the principal would pass you like that." That was how fast he thought Keith would enter the academy.


    <span style="font-weight:400">All enrollees would require an examination to get in. But he didn''t think Keith would need one. That was because of how much Cadmus wanted Keith to attend the academy.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Grandpa Cadmus did say I didn''t need to take the test. But Uncle Sohma said I will need it, or it will look weird." Sohma was the one who suggested Keith should take the test.


    <span style="font-weight:400">And he understood why.

    <span style="font-weight:400">Keith could arrive at the royal capital in an instant. But he didn''t want that. It was more fun traveling by horse.

    <span style="font-weight:400">The next morning, Keith was dressed in warm clothing. He had his sword around his waist. He was ready to set off. William and the rest of the family were outside to see him set off.

    <span style="font-weight:400">"Remember to watch out for monsters," Sophia warned. There were going to be monsters along the way there.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"I know, Mother." Keith smiled. He looked at the two children, "Big Brother will be gone for a while. Remember to behave, okay?"

    <span style="font-weight:400">Keith smiled as he patted their heads, "Good. I''ll buy you some souvenirs when I have the chance,"


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Kid, don''t think about messing with my horse," Michael frowned as he brought Barton.


    <span style="font-weight:400">Keithughed, "Rx. Barton is a great horse. There''s nothing to worry about,"


    <span style="font-weight:400">"..." I''m not concerned about that. Of course, Michael knew he was a good horse. What he was afraid of was Barton being stolen by Keith.


    <span style="font-weight:400">Keith was going to use Barton for his journey. As he got on top of the horse,


    <span style="font-weight:400">Eric sighed, "Michael, you have to face the facts. Barton is already Keiths."

    <span style="font-weight:400">"...You two really want to fight, huh?" Michael crunched his knuckles as he stared at them. These two were asking for it!

    <span style="font-weight:400">"I''m off now!" Keith waved his hands as he was ready to set off. Aria flew up in the sky while Fira rode on Keith''s shoulders.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Barton! Go fast!" Fira shouted. She wanted the horse to go as fast as possible.

    <span style="font-weight:400">"Ngeh!" Barton made a slight snort as he ran! The speed was incredible as it zipped out the gates before it could fully open.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Wooohooo!" Keith shouted out loud.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"..." Alvin turned to Michael, "Don''t ever say that Barton is your horse. ept reality."


    <span style="font-weight:400">"..." Michael wanted to throw himself out the window!

    <span style="font-weight:400">Keith''s group continued to ride without a thought. But after some time,


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Barton, you should take a break. There''s a stream up ahead." Keith stated. He had been traveling around the northern region for some time now. He knew some locations where they could rest.


    <span style="font-weight:400">Barton slowed down, and Keith got off the horse. He grabbed the harness and brought him to the stream, "Drink a lot. We''re going to be riding for some time,"


    <span style="font-weight:400">Without resting, Keith and Barton could make it there in a couple of days. But where would the fun be in that? He wanted to take his time to get there.


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Delicious," Fira was drinking some water as well. But Keith suddenly ced his finger on Fira''s face!


    <span style="font-weight:400">Shh! Aria raised her wings as well. A monster. That was what the two felt as they looked around.


    <span style="font-weight:400">From the right. Keith stared at Barton, and the horse understood. It kept silent. Like that, Keith went with Aria. And what the two found was a giant bear. Its body was huge. What was more, its fang stuck out from the mouth. They were sharp and could cut through steel.


    <span style="font-weight:400">Keith stared at Aria. Thetter nodded. And like that, the two of them made their move! Keith quickly dashed at it!


    <span style="font-weight:400">"Rawr!" The bear roared as it stared at Keith! It was ready to strike Keith down. But the ground became uneven, and a sinkhole formed!


    <span style="font-weight:400">The bear didn''t know what happened when its entire body dropped into that sinkhole! Keith took the chance and swung his de, taking its head off!
