"How did you..."
Coralie recalled that Skr was previously working on theputer. For the most part, he would not
leave the study for the whole night.
Even if he did leave the study and went to the bathroom, he would note to the second floor, let
alone discovering that she left.
Yet today...
"How would I know that you''re here to buy contraceptive pills?"
Skr said and seized Coralie''s hand forcefully.
Coralie replied apologetically, "I''m sorry..."
Coralie could feel Skr''s seething anger through his firm grip.
Therefore, she chose to apologize immediately, like a child who was caught red-handed.
"Why did you get the pills? Didn''t I tell you? You can have one child, ten or even twenty children but I''m
more than capable to raise all of them." Skr demanded for an exnation.
When Skr was in the car, he had a premonition that Coralie left to buy contraceptive pills.
Previously, Coralie donned an unusual expression when she served him a ss of water. There was a
nagging feeling when he was working on theputer, thus he went downstairs and noticed that the
TV was ying a legal show. The program happened to be talking about a couple fighting for the
custody of their children.
Immediately, he guessed that Coralie must have gone out to buy contraceptive pills.
He suppressed his anger and went to the pharmacy just in time to witness Coralie taking the pills.
Coralie pleaded, "Let''s go home first, okay?"
Following that, she gave the shop assistant an apologetic look. She did not want trouble the pharmacy.
Skr replied immediately, "Okay."
Instantly, he dragged Coralie along as they headed back home. His pace was hasty and she had to trot
in order to catch up with him because of the difference in height between them.
Meanwhile, Skr kept quiet along the way.
However, he entered the door to their house and closed it behind him before immediately pressing
Coralie against the door. He asked, "So, tell me. Why?"
In response, Coralie raised her head and asked solemnly, "Skr, are you 100% confident that we will
be together for the rest of our lives? Will we never part ways? We might be able to be together for a
long time if you were an ordinary person, yet, you''re the young master of the Hond family and your
family doesn''t even ept me. Can''t you see what''s going on after all this time?"
Even though Skr defended her at the previous family banquet, Coralie was not stupid or willfully
blind. She could see that everyone was eyeing her coldly back then.
As for Lillian, she felt utterly ashamed because her daughter-inw was from an ordinary family.
Before she found out about the agreement, she was constantlying up with ways to make Skr
leave Carolie.

On the other hand, Coralie spotted the disappointment in Skr''s eyes and something dawned on her.
In truth, Skr was facing as many problems as she was.

Coralie lowered her eyes and helplessness shrouded her eyes as she continued, "I''m sorry that I''m not

Suddenly, Skr had an idea when she apologized. He leaned over and concluded, "I''ll find a way but
you have to promise me that you''ll give birth to my child if you''re pregnant."
The truth was Skr wasing up with a crazy idea and that was to impregnate Coralie.

On the following Sunday, Skr stuck to Coralie. In fact, he did not even enter the study but instead,
worked on his tablet in the living room.
He did whatever he could to keep Coralie in his sight all the time.
He wanted to prevent her from sneaking out to buy contraceptive pills.
The situation did not change during weekdays. He would request the security guards to stand guard at
the entrance of Skyton Corporation. If Coralie walked out of the door, they must follow her at all cost.
The tense and stifling atmosphere continued for over two weeks.
Thene a day where they just got off work and Skr picked up Coralie. He dered, "Let''s take a
pregnancy test."
As a matter of fact, Coraliepletely gave up the idea of terminating her pregnancy and she never
left the office when she was at work.
Therefore, it surprised her when Skr suddenly brought up this topic.
"All right," she replied obediently.
She was curious whether she was pregnant but based on her own intuition, it did not feel like she was.
Following that, Coralie visited the pharmacy where she bought the contraceptive pill previously.
However, she was there to purchase a pregnancy test kit.
After returning home, Coralie held onto the pregnancy test kit and her heart was racing.

The truth was he was more nervous than Coralie. He wanted nothing more than Coralie to be pregnant.
In this way, Lillian would be delighted if Coralie gave birth to an adorable grandchild. Soon after, Lilian

Following that, she went to the bathroom with the pregnancy test kit. It was her first time using it, thus
she read the instructions carefully before using it.

Soon after, Coralie was fixated at the pregnancy test kit.

Coralie ced the pregnancy test kit on the counter next to the sink. After waiting for a minute, there
was only a single line on the pregnancy test kit.
In other words, she was not pregnant.
Following that, Coralie came out from the bathroom with the pregnancy test kit. She concluded,
"There''s only one line, so I''m not pregnant."
"You''re not?" Skr asked.
Skr was confident with his capability and it would not be too surprising if Coralie was pregnant after
one try. However, the result did not meet his expectation and she was not pregnant.
Coralie hummed in response.
Soon after, she cleaned the pregnancy test kit before handing it to Skr to let him check. Following
that, he noticed that it was indeed just one line as Coralie mentioned and the disappointment in his
eyes was hard to overlook.
"Is this pregnancy test kit faulty?"
Skr stared at Coralie as he asked. He hoping for a fluke.
Coralie eximed, "Of course not!"
She was simrly helpless. How could the pregnancy test kit be faulty?
Immediately, Skr tossed the pregnancy test kit into the trash can and turned around to sit on the
couch. Following that, he made a phone call.
In the meantime, Coralie thought that it was an indication that he had given up.
However, when the call was connected, Skr uttered over the phone, "Harvey, tell me a sure-fire way
to make a woman pregnant."
At the same time, Coralie was tidying up her coat beside him and she almost tripped over herself when
she heard Skr''s question.
A sure-fire way to get pregnant?
If such a method did exist, then all the fertility clinics would have shut down!
