    The meal left me all warm and fuzzy, and Oscar was such a chatterbox that the mood was really

    Then drove to Evergreen Park, the biggest park in Rosemont, with a massive artificialke that’s


    absolutely gorgeous when it’s full of yellow water lilies In summer. In winter, theke freezes over, and


    birds sometimes perch on the ice. People buy some bread, crumble it up, and throw it on the ice for the


    birds to peck at


    Oscar also bought two loaves of bread and handed one to me, “Trene, you feed them too”


    “Sure thing “I opened the bread, crumbled it up with my hands, and threw it onto theke. Several birds


    immediately came to peck at it, making quite a

    After we finished feeding the birds, we strolled around the park. I don’t usually go out for walks, but


    despite the cold, I was really enjoying myself.


    Finally, we arrived at Obsidian Spire. The stone steps were fairly clean, with all the snow trampled

    Looking down at the snow–covered Obsidian Spire, it was truly beautiful. The town of Rosemont below


    looked like a winter wondend, sparkling under the clear sunlight


    “Irene, let me take some photos for you” Oscar put down his backpack and handed me his kitten, “How


    about taking some photos with the kitten?”


    I leaned against the railing, took the kitten, and smiled at him, “Sure, let’s do it”


    Oscar was quite good at photography I had seen the photos he took of Bonnie on his Instagram before.


    After taking a dozen or so photos, he said, “All right,e take a look”


    As I was carefully selecting the best shots, someone stood in front of us I looked up.


    Russel appeared before me like a ghost, with a group of his colleagues not far behind sneakily looking


    our way


    “Russel, what are you doing here?” I was totally surprised


    “I’m just hanging out with my colleagues Russel wasn’t looking at me but at Oscar, “You’re hanging out


    with Bonnie’s ex again?”


    This guy was getting more and more rude What’s his problem?


    Oscar’s face changed slightly, and he looked at Russel with hostility. He didn’t like it when people


    talked like that.


    “Oscar and I are friends too, it’s perfectly normal for us to go hiking together. Plus, he and Bonnie have

    Thinking about how angry Neil was when he rushed to Bonnie’s house, I felt no regrets at all


    “Irene, don’t be mad” Oscar saw this and quicklyforted me.


    “I’m not mad, I just think this guy is unreasonable. Why is he always against me?” I said deliberately for


    Russel to hear..


    It was Neil who was at fault. Why was Russel always ming me?

    Just then, a woman called out, “Dr. Russel,” and Russel turned his head. A young woman wearing the

    Russel was too deep.


    “Why are youughing? Oscar asked awkwardly.


    “Oscar, if you said Russel was after Bonnie, I might believe you, got it?” I patted Oscar on the arm,


    “Let’s go. Let’s see what else there is to do on the top


    of the mountain”


    We looked around and found that aside from the view, there wasn’t much else to do.


    Russel and his colleagues came prepared and set up a barbecue in the cold wind. I couldn’t believe he


    would participate in such an event.


    And there were a bunch of pretty girls flocking around Russel, who seemed to be quite popr.


    Too bad he didn’t seem to be paying them much attention.


    “Oscar, let’s go down the mountain” I lost interest in staying and casually told Oscar.


    Oscar nodded and followed me down the mountain.


    By the time we got down, it was getting dark. Before leaving, I could tell Oscar had something he


    wanted to say to me. But I was feeling annoyed and didn’t want to add to my troubles, so I didn’t wait


    for him to speak and just drove off.


    I saw through the rear–view mirror that Oscar was standing by the side of the road, not moving.


    A pang of guilt hit me again I thought I should stop giving Oscar false hopes.


    I decided I was going to file lor divorce with Neill


    After I had this idea, I went home and immediately bbed to a few of my gal pals. They were super


    pumped after hearing it, and Alicia even hooked me up with awyer who specializes in divorce cases.


    So, under the guidance of thiswyer, I started to prepare thewsuit


    Two dayster, I handed over the suit to the court. If all goes well, Neil will be notified in a week.


    Regardless of how he will respond, I’ve made up my mind I gotta get this divorce.


    As for my parents and inws, I’ll deal with them when the timees.


    When Ste heard I had filed the suit, she was so thrilled that she came over to my ce in the
