“Mom, we’ve already taken it.” I tried to shake off some inappropriate images from my head to avoid
blushing unintentionally.
Faith seemed skeptical, “Really?”
So, I detailed the whole process of getting the medicine, changing it, and taking it, every word truthful,
to reassure her.
However, I didn’t tell her about the intimate acts between Neil and me.
“That’s good, just keep it up for a while, you will definitely give birth to a healthy baby.” Faith showed a
smile, and suddenly added, “It would be even better if it’s a girl.”
Sometimes I really found Faith likable. She was considerate of others‘ feelings, afraid of hurting mine.
It was weird, after rebirth, I found Bonnie really beautiful, Faith really cute, even Russel, the cold man, I
discovered his warm side, and Neil, he’d changed a
lot too.

“Irene, don’t stress yourself, let nature take its course with the baby. We sometimes can’t help but
mention wanting grandchildren, don’t take it to heart.” Seeing me in a daze, Faith thought I was worried
about the whole baby thing.

too.”

After I divorce Neil, Bonnie will help me fulfill Ryan and Faith’s wish, so there was no rush.
After chatting for a while, we went downstairs, Neil was back in the living room, amusing his nephew.
He lifted the toddler onto his shoulders, holding onto his little hands making flying gestures, running
back and forth; the child’sughter was adorable.
I was a bit dazed, as if I could see what Neil would look like as a father. He seemed to enjoy being
around children and would probably be a good dad. But, he was not going to be the father of my child.
“Let’s go shopping.” Faith pulled me and a few other women to go shopping.
As for the little nephew, he was left to the men at home.
I volunteered to drive, Faith in the passenger seat and the others in the back, but there was one seat
short, so an aunt followed in her own car.
Five women headed out together, Faith chatted with the others along the way, suddenly she seemed to
find something, so she bent down to pick it up from under the seat. I took a nce, it was an earring. It
was delicate, but you could tell it wasn’t expensive.

I sat on the couch, sipping coffee while watching the models. Though they were younger than Faith,
their figures were simr, they wore dignified and elegant clothes for Faith and the a aunts to choose
from.
“Please bring me that coat.” Suddenly, Faith spotted a snow–white coat. The cor was also white fox
fur, and it looked very warm. The buttons were gemstone round buttons, with an stic waist, it looked
both elegant and grand.
I thought Faith was buying it for herself, but she made me try it on after she got it, “You’ll look great in
it.”
I didn’t refuse, and took off my own coat and put on the one Faith liked. The snow–white, soft fox fur
made my face look smaller the tightened waist entuated my figure, I was even amazed by my
reflection in the mirror.
“You look great in it.” Faith looked at

Afterward, they continued to shop in other stores. While waiting for them, I took a selfie and posted it
on Facebook: “The coat Faith bought for me, do you like it? I love it.”
I really liked it, just not sure if Bonnie would like it.
Surprisingly, the first one toment was Russel: “Not bad, where’s my Boomer?”
I replied: “Don’t worry, Boomer is well taken care of at home.”
Russel: “That’s good, don’t let him eat too much, he’s a bit greedy.”
I replied with an OK hand emoji,
Russel: “Where’s Neil?”
Seeing more and morements, I was speechless, so I messaged Russel privately: “Do you have to
chat with me in thements? If Neil sees this, he might give me a hard time.”
Russel: What’s the difference?”
Iughed: “What’s the difference between bathing at home and bathing on the street?”

“Irene, let’s go home, I’m tired from shopping.” Faith finally finished shopping and said to me full of
satisfaction.
“Okay.” I put away my phone, took the shopping bags from Faith, and followed them out.
When we got home, it was alreadyte.
It’s been a while since I’ve shopped like today. When I went out with Ste and others, we usually went
straight to our destination, and we rarely walked.
So, my legs were a bit sore, I nned to sleep after a shower. Just as I was about to sleep, I heard Neil
answering the phone, his voice deep and gentle: “It’s okay, I’ll handle it.”
Then the sound of the door opening. I suddenly woke up, ran to the balcony, and saw Neil’s car lights
turn on, disappearing into the snowy night.
Ryan and Faith probably didn’t know Neil left in the middle of the night. lit was quiet. My phone started
ringing. It was a message from Neil: “I have something to deal with. You stay here for a few more days,
and I’lle to pick you up.”
Judging by his tone on the phone, I guess it might be something about Bonnie. Looking at the
message, my feelings were indescribable. He was not giving me the cold shoulder like he used to in my
past life anymore. He dropped me a message, hinting he’d got some feels for me. But then he was up
in the wee hours, all worried about another gal.
While my thoughts were all over the ce, Oscar pinged me with a message: “That dress looks really
good.”
It lightened me up quite a bit, I shot back: “Haha, thanks for thepliment.”
Oscar: “It’s not apliment, it really looks good. Irene, don’t you realize how beautiful you are?”
