    and gentle. Then, he saw Cedrick approaching with a ss of red wine in his hand. He sat across from


    Edwin, with some distance in between.


    Catelyn came by and sat in between the two men. There was an indescribable tension in the air. Catelyn


    swallowed a mouthful of cake that she had just shoved in her mouth. Her throat was dry, and so she


    identally choked on it. She saw a ss of wine on the table and gobbled it down without hesitation.


    Both the cake and wine went down her stomach. Catelyn then licked her lips in satisfaction.


    Cedrick watched as she did it. Once again, no one was sure what was on his mind. Catelyn was


    confused.


    Why did he look at her like that? Was there something on her face? Was her hair messy? Cedrick was


    still the same old him, casually cing his left foot on his right knee and sizing her up with his dark eyes


    silently. Catelyn was uneasy about being stared at and could not help but ask, “Cedrick, is there


    something on my face?” Cedrick used his slender finger to point at the wine ss in her hand and said
